Our beloved dog, Lancelot passed away on Jan. 11th. We had just recently moved to PA and did not know who to call. Our vet recommended Furlong, telling us that they performed the cremations for his two dogs. They picked up Lancelot the very next day and when he was ready to come home, they were kind enough to call to say the would be in the Seneca area the next day we live in Oil City and offered to meet us so we would not have to drive to Summerville. They were very compassionate and helpful. Thank you for taking such good care of little Lancie.
Arrangements were made for my mother when she was dying from cancer. We are not the type to take our sorrows to the world and we were able to arrange exactly what we wanted. Price was excellent and we were not sold things that we did not want. Even with the low cost he went out of his way to do things that we did not ask for and that did not cost us extra. If you want it your way then these are the people to see. From what I understand, Furlong not only cares for deceased people but does cremate pets too. I'm sure he must need to put people first at times. I know when my mother died, he picked her up almost as soon as we released the body.
we have been trying to get in touch with you since Tuesday the 16th to pick up our beloved pet, since your lack of getting back in touch with us , we found a funeral home in New Castle to come and get her. We called and they came right the very next morning . The least you could have done is call and say you couldn't come get her instead of just leaving us hang . Your loss of money on that one . sincerely, Sharon Hetrick and since I have to rate you to post this I give one star , but other than that I wouldn't even give you that
My local vet's office sent my deceased pet to this man for cremation. All I can say is, if you have another option, use it and DO NOT go here!! I specifically asked for a pawprint keepsake mold, along with many other questions to make sure I had a memento other than just a box of ashes. He never did it, he never called, not once contacted me prior to just throwing her to the fire. After a couple days, I was finally successful in contacting him and when I did, I was greeted by most abrasive, rude, arrogant & insensitive person I have ever spoken to, especially during a grieving process, not to mention that it took much longer than what I was told to receive her ashes back. This man is a disgrace to his profession and I can only hope that he has more compassion and empathy for handling human lives than what he does for animals!!!
