To foster relationships and support policies that help working people in San Francisco, especially in the entertainment, travel and hospitality industries.

We offer the following Public Affairs services: Legislative Advocacy; Issues Management; Policy Monitoring; Public Outreach; and Strategic Alliances.
Our Labor Relations services include: Contract Negotiations & Collective Bargaining; Contract Interpretation; Mediation; Grievances & Arbitration; Conflict Resolution; Employment Decisions; and Economic Strategies.
You will benefit from FX’s 30-plus years’ experience in San Francisco’s organized labor community including 15 years as the leader of the International Alliance for Theatrical Stage Employees and Film Technicians (IATSE), Local 16, the largest entertainment union in Northern California.
FX also served as President and Commissioner of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission as well as San Francisco Port Commissioner. He served three terms on San Francisco Travel’s Board of Directors (formerly the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau) and has been a member of the San Francisco Labor Council’s Executive Board since 1994.
