VERY disappointed that corporate is shutting down this location at Greenwood Mall. The employees are SO very helpful, friendly, and overall wonderful. We make over an hour trip to this mall JUST to visit FYE... EVERY weekend. There isn't another store with the same type of merchandise we look for when shopping here, unfortunately. We heard the mall overheads wanted the space for another retailer, and that FYE didn't want to renovate another lot inside the mall. VERY bad decision..as there will not be another location anywhere remotely close to where we live anymore!!! Us consumers, as well as the employees are really disappointed FYE
Let's start with oh my God I cannot believe in FYE is still around. I thought this company much like CDs was a thing of the past. So needless to say I was super excited to find this store. There are a ton of novelty collection items. As far as the CD option go I'm not sure I have given up on compact disc and have merged over to the new way of mainstream music downloadable and Cloud. They did have a few band style shirts not really band shirts but Style. There was quite the selection of different horror films along with action figures to go with the movie if you wanted that particular novelty. The staff was really awesome and letting everyone that checked out know If an item was on the buy one get one free option so that was great I got a bunch of stuff.
One of my favorite stores at the Greenwood Mall! They have a little bit of everything. There's always some kind of sale going on. All the employees are super nice and it's just a great store for everyone.
Today was no different than any other. I can always find something I'm interested in. Went in for bluetooth earbuds, came out with $111 worth of movies.... and earbuds. As a horror fanatic, they've definitely got a huge selection to choose from! Nothing to complain about.
A little pricey depending on what you find! I have found some deals on new DVDs. Nothing special about the customer service. The staff isn't rude but not overly friendly either.
On November 23, 2018, it was Black Friday. I was at Fye shopping and looking if things were on sale. I see a bogo sale and all the hoodies were $19.99 each. I decided to get one and when my mother went to the register to pay, the employees said that the hoodie wasn't $20, it was $30 and I believe that they lied to get more money even though it was on sale. My mom had to leave it behind and we just left the store and here I am, writing about it. Was it a scam? I don't know but in my opinion, I think they lied to us customers and said that to get more money and that really disappoints me. I'm never going to that store if they did me and my mother that way.
Cool store my kids love it. The only complaints is that the CD selection could be better but it is 2018 and CDs are on the out. So can't complain too much.
Not sure bout giving a review in my area, due to the store closing down. I'll go ahead . The items are marked down 30% off and few selected items are close to 75%. Not a bad deal till you see the prices they want even for the used items. Hate to see them closing or any business. Just go and check it out, might find things you want.
Good place to go for music, but their DVD and video game selection has dwindled. They do still have some cool apparel and trinkets though.
We love going here every year to do some Christmas shopping. They always have me feeling very nostalgic with their wide variety of retro products and music.
