I grew up going to Gabe’s then Gabriel Bros back in the day for back to school shopping. It’s been a long time since going and decided to stop by today on our way home from Lowe’s. I was truly impressed with the selection they had of pretty much everything. We bought a few clothing items and also some dog treats. The dog treat selection at this location is HUGE and very well priced. We were happy we stopped by.

Copied from another user on Facebook  At Gabe's Fredericksburg — In the checkout line at Gabe's Fredericksburg, VA. The checkout line has a strong odor of urine, and then the kids saw 3 mice running in all the stuff. This was just 2 things in the line. Everything by the front was covered in this! Absolutely disgusting.

This is the absolute worst shopping experience I’ve ever had at this store. Only had two people to ring up customers and the manager refused to ring any customers at all.  So many people put their items back and walk out as did I. Smdh.

Went there on a Wednesday around 6pm and they closed the fittingrooms? They close at 10pm....so no where near closing time......wasn't really busy......why are the fittingrooms closed???

Gabe's is a nice browse around store, however; It's a bit overcrowded with merchandise. It needs to be better organized in lieu of items just sitting out in the open. Prices are reasonable and the quality is satisfactory.

Great prices on household goods but an extremely long checkout line that you'd expect to see during the holidays but not in July. 22 minutes to check out.

Great deals if you search each rack. Good coupon offers in store & on the app

School shopping for my kids . Had to shop in the men's section for my boy because alot of the clothes in his sizes I could not find in kids section. Nothing is really organized, but there are some good deals .

Gabe's is a discount department store but it really needs some organization and attention. Stuff is just everywhere, I'm all about savings but it has to be convenient and clean.

I'd prefer not to provide my feedback as I am currently an employee.  They have a lot of great deals.
