They did my wedding reception December 11 2015 and overall I was very happy. Nathan the wine manager / Wedding coordinator was very helpful and gave us a great price and tons of valuable info. We even hired a bartender from his staff and he was professional, respectful and got the job done very well. He replied to emails very quickly and in a professional manner. The only problem is that they forgot to ship the actual whiskey and vodka to the wedding reception. I emailed Nathan and reminded him a week before but I suppose he forgot. My mother-in-law had to call and nag him to bring the booze. They brought it and it worked out but that additional headache on the wedding day took off a star. The prices are great and the staff is great too so I still highly recommend them. They have a cash discount so please take cash when you purchase from them.
What an Amazing experience buying beer. The Manager greeted us at door, and was super helpful. The selection is amazing, and every beer I looked for was there. So much liquor and wine they are sure to have what you need. The staff is so helpful and happy to check for your selection over the phone. What a great place to shop!
We used Gabriel's to order beer and liquor for our wedding this past Halloween. Nathan was super knowledgable, friendly, and coordinated with my caterer to make the best signature drinks ever! We ordered just the right amount alcohol and only ran out of one type of liquor at the end of the night. I appreciated his flexibility and patience as we had to change our order several times!
Don't waste your gas. Go to any twin liquors and you'll find better prices. They've also locked their doors early and refused to let me in right after letting another customer inside, waited a few more minutes for it to be their closing time then told me it was too late. I'll go back when they have better prices and better employees.
Returning policy is absolutely awful once you buy them you cannot return them. They told me I had up to 15 days as long as I had my receipt in hand after I bought a pair for work and wore them for one day and had a small chip on my left boot they didn't refund them nor exchanged them. Paid 200 bucks for these boots and they couldn't do a single thing after I have bought several pairs of boots for my wife, son and myself. Never coming back to this store since the Academy offers 3 months of return or exchange no questions asked.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Good discounts on most things. The selection is really where it's at. They have EVERYTHING. Best place to pick up alcohol in town, hands down.
Gabriel's is the go-to place for hard to find and exclusive alcoholic beverages. For one, it's the only place in San Marcos that sells a marsh mellow vodka. They also contain a huge assortment of premium mixers and ingredients for you craft cocktail makers like myself. If you can't find a specific item at another liquor store in town, Gabriel's has you covered. Be sure to check their tasting schedule!
Friendly knowledgeable staff. HUGE selection and great prices the best place to get beer or liquor in town. If they don't have it they will offer to order it for you. Great high quality service
