I love this park. I love that they have a pond which does have an alligator so beware. But it's a very nice path around the pond which is always clean. This is a very clean park. They do have other sides of the park which has two dog parks. They have I believe two baseball fields. So for people who like to play baseball and things. Otherwise it's a very nice path to walk to run and to bike and bring your dog. On the path itself doesn't have a lot of shade. But off the path there are a lot of trees with a lot of shade. If you're going to bring your dog to walk on the hot pavement please bring them water. Or at least bring them to the shaded dog park. There are also exercise stations. Check your local listings at times there are events at the park. Also what I really love about this park is that they have a lot of dragonflies. And you may be wondering why that is such a huge deal. Well it's amazing because they eat all the mosquitoes. And as many times as I have been to the park I have not gotten bitten by a mosquito. I love dragonflies. Great for sunrise and sunset walking/running.
Nice and spacious park that’s wide open for running room. 3 divided sections in the dog park allow you to distance yourself from other groups of dogs which is helpful. Also has a scenic walking trail throughout if the dog park isn’t your thing. Grassy fields surrounding trail system and baseball fields are also available and have shade in half the areas for hot days. Covered picnic areas also provide a nice spot to eat
Gadsden Park is a really nice family-friendly park. It’s got lots of green space, beautiful trees, baseball fields, a large dog park, a playground for the kids, and a nice fitness trail going around the pond. The fitness trail has some exercise stations like monkey bars and it’s wide enough to accommodate everybody - dog walkers, bicyclists, parents with strollers and kids, etc - without feeling crowded. This is our new go-to spot to take the kids out for family bike rides, it really takes the stress off to have a safe spot without cars around while the kids are still getting the hang of bicycle safety.
Great dog park! 3 separated areas for lots of dog sizes & attitudes. Big play areas that have a few picnic tables, some shade coverage & plenty of cute pups to run around and tire each other out! Playground: Playground & baseball fields surround the dog park
Often take my dog to the dog park there. Which is fair compared to other dog parks. has a circuit training exercise path, walking trails. people seem friendly when encounter I'm the park. There is also recycling dumpster. park is used by several baseball leagues.
Great place to walk with kids or dogs and not have to watch out for traffic. You can do a small lap around the lake or make it a longer walk by going past the baseball fields. The playground is mediocre, never many kids there. The dog park is a great place to hang out with your dog. The dog owners I have met have always been friendly and cleaned up after their pup!
Excellent dog park with three separately fenced areas. There aren't dog water fountains, however, buckets are placed to collect rain water. The ground is a mix between clayish sand and grassy dirt
Gorgeous park! Great place to walk, run, play softball or baseball, kid playground, and a nice dog park.
We have been taking our pup here for 2 years. It’s friendly and great for the dogs to run around and play. There are 2 large areas and 1 small for dogs.
Great place for children and families. Munchkin loves to play her softball with her friends from school there.
