Walmart supercenter in Attalla, Al seems to have a better supply of things compared to the one in East Gadsden. Just bought a pole saw for $98. Wal-Mart Gadsden does not stock this merch.
Fairly friendly employees and that's always a plus
I usually do curbside pickup and everyone who brought out my items was pleasant and professional. A few times the items I received were incorrect or a few fruits in a pre-packed bag were bad but this issue was quickly remedied online. It would be great if the store could expand its organic fruit and vegetable section.
This walmart is not clean, and the staff is lacking in customer service. I come here pretty often nowadays. One lady in services was very rude to me when making a legitimate return even though I had the receipt. She just had an overall sour and unlikeable personality/demeanor. Makes me miss my old local Walmart Pell City. They would greet me and at least be decent or unbothered to help. I don't like going to the Gadsden Walmart. It makes me uncomfortable, and I try to avoid it given the atmosphere. The Gadsden Walmart can do better.
Delivery from here is not great at all. Orders wrong, order prep and delivery most of the time delayed, order items missing or wrong items, and I even had two orders for two different people coming to my house and only one showed up. No alerts. Nothing. My advice, don't ask for delivery from here. Don't even do pickup because I've even had issues with that as well.
Customer service is subpar at this location. I recently tried calling my local store #301 about an item I left at the store during an in-store purchase. I couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone after multiple attempts, except for one employee in the Bakery. She tried transferring me to Customer Svc, but the phone rang off the hook. I was finally able to get some assistance through the Corporate Customer Service number. I’ve also had many issues with grocery pickup. My orders were consistently delayed 2+ hours or cancelled altogether, regardless of which day/ time I chose. I switched to another store for my grocery pickup, and drive a considerable distance out of the way for good customer service.
Not the worst store I've been in, but the photo speaks for itself. Nothing is in its place. I know Christmas gets hectic and Walmart is often understaffed, but I think someone needs to coach the person stocking this stuff. It's in the front end of the store and it leaves a big impression for the people who work here. Again... Still not the worst I've seen, and I say this from the experience of being someone who's worked at Walmart before. I feel sorry for the vendors who have to work this.
I was told that my order was ready for pick up I get there as always and park in number 11 and a few minutes later an Walmart employee came to my window ask my name and told me that they haven't even shopped for it and that they were short handed due to several employees quitting. That I can understand but driving there after I was told it was ready and they even said they substituted 3 items. They need to do something about an app that apparently isn't correct in knowing if your stuff is ready or not. The Walmart employee also suggested that I cancel my order because of being short handed. So I did that. I hope they get there act together because there isn't really any where to shop in Gadsden that isn't so expensive and also other things you get at Walmart aren't at other grocery stores. So it looks like I'm gonna have to figure out another way other than Walmart. I hate that
Love shopping in store at Walmart, the store is very nice & clean with great prices. A little piece of advice don't shop with them online. I've had a lot of problems getting my money back cause of items they did not have & having to cancel waiting a week or 2 for the money to be put back into my bank after countless phone calls and disputes.
I visited the store to buy snacks and bedding for my sons' rooms after some renovations. It was just a holdover until we get what they really want. The selection was very small. One aisle of bedding and not shelved well. I had to dig and move things around to find what I needed. It will do for now but will definitely have to find better quality made sets.
