Galaxy Diner

This is one of the better diners in the area. The service is very good and the food is pretty good too. The breakfast is spot on good. Lunches are eh, their soup sucks. Some broth with a noodle or two and a carrot/celery. Somebody told me the owner has lost interest. I have gone here 10+ years and have seen a decline. Support your local businesses! When this is gone, enjoy your egg McMuffin or go watch the food fights at Denny's.

What a find! Pure Jersey Diner bliss! We arrined 10 am on a summer weekday. Not many people seated in a big room. Food ess good and generous. Our waitress extremely nice... but it was tough to get her attention for the check. Don't give it a miss if you are hungry.

Good quality classic diner Food with a vast variety of options to choose from. Fast and attentive service ensured that I had everything I needed. Staff made me feel right at home.

The waitress was the best. We had a little 3 years old and she came with a coloring book and crayons. She even spoke to the little and made her feel special. The food was good and there was a larger amount of it. We we're served with a smile and and had a great time. We we're not rushed out and enjoyed our meals and each other's company. I would go back anytime.

Great tasty Hot food!! First time going today for lunch and I loved the food. I left full and satisfied. My waitress was very nice, she never told me her name but her service was fast and delightful. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. I had the open-faced roast beef with mashed potatoes gravy and collards mixed with black eyed peas

Very poor service. Waited forever to order. Food came out at different times. I ordered the stuffed salmon. Burnt on the outside. But center was uncooked. Told Waitress. She said I had to talk to manger. Friend wanted to take her food home. Never offered a to go box. Never came back with check. They seem to only treat the regulars wit good service. Talked to manger. Gave me a hard time about the food that I did not even eat. Charged me for part of my food. When asked about a senior citizen discount. Was told they did not offer that cause food was cheap enough. Then had the gull to ask how much tip I was going to leave. Will never go back there. Update on this review. After I got home I hot sick and threw up what little I ate there.

I want to like this place, I really do. It's been here for a while and I've never had a terrible experience. But more often than not, the food is mediocre burgers and breakfast are really good though! and the staff are not very welcoming. The waitresses don't seem very caring and have a tendency to botch orders. However, the place was refurbished and it's starting to get better. Have some patience and you'll find no issues here.

The food is delicious but the service is absolutely horrible. It was Memorial Day so extra busy. They only had one chef today and two waitresses for the whole place. I know this because they complained the entire time. the manager was seating customers and ringing them up on the register and she was incredibly nasty. She kept complaining hey she should have been a waitress today. well then. if your nasty to the people there, do you think they will come back next time?! Probably not.

Used to be an enjoyable place with great food. The last THREE times I have went I literally sat with my family for 10-15 minutes without even a look from the "waitress". The service is atrocious and today I walked out for the final time. This diner is an embarrassment of what it used to be. The person who sat me watched us walk out and couldn't have cared less. I'd love to say if the food is good or bad but, I couldn't even tell you how the water tastes. Save your TIME and money for someplace that cares.

Gross. My burger was pink, I asked for well done. I'm not sure how you. Can mess up fries but those weren't good either. Sent that all back. Pickle tasted so old I wanted to gag. The bathroom was the nastiest bathroom I've ever been in, flies, urine All on the toilets, the floor, the smell . The cups are out dated, my son got chocolate milk in a coffee cup. He hot French toast which was okay at best. Syrup was sticky as was the table. The waitress was pleasant, and she understood why I complained. Never again.
