Brian was very helpful with my purchase of my new Green Mountain Grill. It was 10 minutes til close I didn't realize the distribution center closed earlier than the stores and he stuck it through to finish my transaction even though I offered to go to a store location that stayed open later. Galaxy was also the only dealer of Green Mountain Grills doing a promotion in the area. I look forward to shopping at Galaxy Home Recreation in the future.
We had a wonderful experience with Nimi at Galaxy! My husband and I went in there pretty much knowing what we wanted, but Nimi showed us a hot tub that was so much more our style!! We are over the top happy with our new model and Nimi’s service! Thank you!!
Edie was absolutely wonderful, but when we first entered the store, two salesmen just ignored us and turned and walked away. Fine with us, we got Edie Love. We bought a hot tub and now buying a furniture set. Their loss. So Edie gets a 10 and the others get a 1 so we gave over all a 9
Edie was very knowledgeable as to which hot tubs would best fit my needs. I had some limitations at my home on space and we were able to find just the right hot tub that blended size and performance. I am very impressed with the Sundance line of spas and so far it has exceeded my expectations.
I live in central Illinois, was searching online for a specific massage chair, and found it at Galaxy Home Recreation in north Oklahoma City. I was thrilled when I could purchase it online! Little did I know, it was for store pick up, not ship to home. I realized this after I got my invoice that said, “store pick up.” I promptly reached out to let them know I’d have to unfortunately cancel my order. Perhaps sensing my disappointment, Chelsie offered to look into getting it shipped to me instead. When the shipping quote came back high, she gave me a small discount on the price of the massage chair for the confusion to balance out the total price in order to offset the shipping charge some. All without even asking! Customer service is certainly alive and well at Galaxy Home Recreation because Chelsie provided me with the greatest customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Thanks so much to her and her team!!
My wife and I purchased a semi inground pool from Galaxy Home Recreation in Broken Arrow towards the end of May 2021. We were told at the time due to the wet weather we had earlier in the year that they were running about 6 to 8 weeks out before installation could be done. We agreed with them that that was fine and so we waited. Finally on the second week of August the guys showed up dug the hole and got the pool installed framework, liner and pump and we begin to fill the pool. It took about two days for the pool to fill 12‘ x 24‘ x 5’. We were told it would be about a week to two weeks before the hardscape could be installed, they finally showed up on September 6 of 2021 and did the hardscape in which after that we began using the pool a total of two times for the season. Around October 2 2021 I was in the process of cleaning the pool and going to get it ready to winterize for the winter and noticed that there was sand and rocks in behind the liner or between the liner and the pool frame. I got in touch with customer service they sent somebody up, they pulled the liner loose once they had the pool pumped down low enough and cleaned rocks, sand, mortar and bugs of all things from behind the liner. On Saturday, October 31 I begin to take the lines loose to blow them out and prepare to winterize the pool. When I got the lines loose One of the lines going to the pump its self where it comes out of the ground fell over onto the ground so I proceeded to dig the line up to determine what the cause was. I also to backdate a little once the pool was full of water and my pump was running I was losing about an 1”to an 1 1/2” of water a week temperatures were approximately 90 to 95° and I understand evaporation but not that much. At the time I didn’t think too much about it but now I know it was because one of the pipes was not glued on properly and it had partially came off of its connection. Also a portion of the frame of the pool I noticed had slipped apart and led me to wonder if the bolts were even tightened where the frame is bolted together. After all of this that has happened I will definitely say that I will not recommend Galaxy home recreation for a pool of any kind! Also the communication between myself and the installers and the service department was not up to specs, in my opinion. I understand that mistakes happen but along with the mistakes is the poor communication lines that were coming from the service people in the office and everybody else was very inefficient. I do not normally leave bad reviews to any business, I worked in the retail business for 35 years I understand customers frustrations but when you spend approximately $30,000 for a pool it should be done right the first time. I will not use them for any more service or anything pertaining to this pool. Signed one very unhappy customer in Bartlesville! Leroy Wilkinson
This was an outstanding experience, Michele was extremely helpful and patient in helping me with my purchase. From the minute I walked in the door she was ready to answer my questions and showed a true concern in getting me what I wanted and needed. I highly recommend you look her up when visiting Galaxy Liquidations Center.
