Galaxy Movie Theater

The theatre is nice and clean, the sound quality is okay and the screen is a bit small. But nice experience watching movie on a small town that’s emerging . Hope they will upgrade the seats and overall experience soon ..

Gallery Cinemas' proficient and polite staff can only do so much to make up for this quaint-yet-clearly-run-down small-city movie theatre. Long past its glory days if it ever had any, Gallery fails to impress. Myriad issues include but, aren't limited to: 1 Severely-limited selection of snacks, one of which was melted Glosettes. 2 Nowhere to sit in the foyer while one waits to see a movie, despite clearly having room for such seating. 3 No accessible seating, other than for those who use wheelchairs. It's easy to say I won't be returning to Gallery Cinemas for the foreseeable future.

I’ve gone here my whole life and it’s stayed consistent the entire time, friendly staff, clean theatres, seats don’t feel sticky or grimy at all. Sometimes the bathrooms are a little rough if you go on a busy day/night. The concession prices and always have a wide range of snacks! Would definitely recommend!

I'm torn in my review. I'm all about supporting local, but it's really hard when you can pay the same amount and go to Landmark or Cineplex out of town and have a better experience more comfortable seats, cleaner, better snacks. The seats and arm rests are broken at Gallery. Floors are disgusting. There's no appeal to this theater other than being in town.

The staff are nice enough. However the theater itself is a dated and a bit grungy . The seats are also ridiculously uncomfortable. It's in dire need of a renovation. I'd highly suggest taking the extra time to go to Brantford or London to see a movie. If you're going to pay $40+ to go see a movie, you may as well go somewhere clean and comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic facility, I worked many years in a very large cinema in a big city and this place is far superior in every way, popcorn is great, staff is awesome, prices are appropriate, and the atmosphere chefs kiss everything about this smaller hometown theater is fantastic. keep up the great work we will be seeing you guys more often!!

Place was kinda ghetto like all the games/candy machines were broken place was dirty had popcorn all over the floor. Wish the seating was more like the theaters in London cause the seating is cramped and there wasn't many people watching the movie so they definitely don't need to have max seating in the theater they would def benefit from better/comfortable seating i think. Otherwise staff was nice and quick to get our order.

Didn’t enjoy Woodstock’s movie theatre at all, Seats aren’t the best, there has been a broken seat in one theatre that’s still remain unfixed. The popcorn and drinks aren’t cheap, they still have cheap tuesdays but it has a musty smell inside and no air conditioning. We go out of town to watch any movies where they pride themselves as top notch theatre experience.

The theatre tries to save money by not using the air conditioner. The theatre was humid amd smelled musty. The floors were sweating it was so hot. I had to use my inhaler because it was affecting my breathing. I am more than happy to support local business when they treat their customers properly, but this is not the case there. I have experienced this same thing before with the temperature of the thetatre and thought it was a one-off mistake, but obviously they are more concerned with saving money than the comfort of their paying customers. Someone else in the theatre we were in left to complain. It is so uncomfortable and musty. My brother amd his girlfriend came here a few weeks ago and had to leave the theatre to complain about the temperature, so this is clearly an ongoing issue that they do not care to correct.

Great movie and sound, but the theater we were in smelled terrible, and floors were sticky. Chairs are in terrible shape.
