Since 1963, Gale Street Inn has been serving up our famous fall-off-the-bone ribs, prime steaks and market fresh seafood to Chicagoans and lucky visitors alike.

Absolutely love this place! We got the potato skins, crab cakes, and meatballs of which the potato skins were my favorite and I got the hamburger with cheddar cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked! The menu is small, but every item we ordered was amazing quality and taste. I will definitely be adding this to my go to restaurants!

The best restaurant in Jefferson Park probably the northwest side of Chicago and very reasonably priced. Ribs were amazing and shout out to Annette, our service was great!
Best ribs around in my opinion. I like how this place keeps things traditional. The spicy tomatillo soup was also excellent. The girl working the carry out counter was nice.Food: 5/5

Still a real nice place. Went early on a Saturday and sat at the high top leather tables in the bar area which was very nice. Ordered the half rack of ribs with crab legs and it was spectacular. Potatoes Au Gratin we're good but lacked any real flavor but the good thing is they were not too loaded with butter. Had a very good night. Will go back
It was a disappointing trip to Gale Street. Some items that our party always enjoyed have been removed from the menu. Amazingly, iced tea isn't served. We couldn't imagine a restaurant that doesn't serve such a basic item. Worst of all, the sauce for the ribs has been changed; it is now spicy, which none of us liked. Chives have been added to the au gratin potatoes, which is not a positive development either. We have been long-time customers and were surprised at the changes to Gale Street. It will probably be a long time before we try again.
I picked up a tray of ribs for Mothers Day: What a treat!! The ribs were meaty, juicy, and pull apart tender. I had 5 moms at the house and they all loved it. It looks like I lost my job of grilling dinner on Mom’s Day! Keep it going George, Gale Street Inn has been my Go-To for ribs for 40+ years!
We enjoyed celebrating my recent birthdayDec 12th at GSIJeff Pk…There is no better place we would rather be…Have been coming to GSI for a long time —enjoyed EVERY visit….GREAT service, DELICIOUS food along with the PLEASANT atmospherebar area booth….Thanks to George and Oscar for making this day special! We will be back soon for one of our favorites —London Broil!
Went to celebrate a birthday... 5 of us. First time in the restaurant and did not disappoint. Everything was great tasting and we all had a good time. We had the specials ...recommend the walleye.Food: 5/5
