Hidden gem of Glenside. You will think that you are in a museum. Hamid is so nice, patient and a wealth of information. Reasonable prices
You can spend a whole day at Galerie Hamid and still view all the fantastic art in this collection of authentic African treasures.
Absolutely a first-rate establishment for authentic African items. Hamid is exceptional and knowledgeable.
The collection of authentic African art pieces ancient to modern, large to small, from canvas, statues, mask and museum quality pieces are a must see.
Great place to find genuine African and specifically Moroccan art items. Hamid goes to Morocco several times a year to bring back unique items - that you can't find anywhere else in Philly and probably the East Coast. He also serves strong, tasty coffee! You wouldn't expect this find in Glenside. I've been going there for a couple decades.

Hamid's is chock full of items from Morroco and other parts of Africa. You can get everything from large statues to go inside or outside of your home or business, to masks, to mud cloth in vibrant colors to jewelry. Whenever I'm in Philly, I stop by to get something. Anything!
This store has been my go to place for all African art, from masks to statues, mud cloth and the most unique pieces of jewelry.
