I been trying to get my Passport for the last few days in different offices, all of them ask you to make an appointment. I showed up to the one in Pasadena Blvd in Pasadena without it, they weren't busy but they couldn't take my paperwork, because "you need an appointment". I left and came directly to this office, what a difference! These ladies were very nice, prompt, to the point, fast, very efficient and it seems like they like what they do. Even though, they are under construction, they manage to provide great service. I was very pleased with the whole experience.
Website states tax office is open from 8-5 but be aware it closes at 12pm on Fridays. Would have been nice to know before driving there.
I came here to get my passports. The wait was not long at all. Fast and courteous people helped me. They only accept checks or money orders for the passports fees just fyi.
I’ve been there today to renew me and my daughter’s passport, the service was amazing, all the procedures were fast and easy, all the employees were so nice and helpful, especially Twanza she helped us with all the paperwork, and all the procedures! She is so kind and helpful!
I’d expect the hours to be accurate, but nope after getting my elderly mother out of the vehicle and up the handicap ramp we find out they are Closed for the Juneteenth holiday. Thanks for updating your google hours.
Very surprised. The visit was perfect, super quick, good levels of customer service and professionalism. The site had ample parking and the building was very clean. The best government office I’ve visited in a long time. Well done.
Terrible customer service. Both reps I spoke with today didn't have the courtesy to introduce themselves/say their name - acted like every question I had asked required them to go above and beyond - and furthermore they were rude answering my questions. 0/10 would recommend - gotta love the government ;
A month running around trying to get a title change these ladys helped me more in ten minutes than all the other clerks offices ive been to in the last month!!!! Thank you!!!
My family and I went today, 1/9/23 to the League City location 174 Calder Rd. Building 4 to get passports for ourselves and our children. We were met with a very rude and unfriendly lady. We didn't get her name, but she was short, chubby, and had brown, shoulder-length hair Gracie. Her desk was the one closest to the door when you walk in. She was sitting at her desk when we walked in and asked us what we needed without leaving her seat. We told her passports. She asked if we had our paperwork done and we told her that yes we did, with the exception of having a question on the back page. That was when she finally got out of her seat to help us. This lady was rude and rushed us every step of the way. Meanwhile, beside us, a lovely older blonde lady Nancy was helping another family and she was being so patient and kind. We had our children with us, and this was their first time getting their passports, so we'd wanted the experience to be special, as they were so excited. But we didn't get that, as we were unfortunately working with Cruella DeVille. Because we wanted a more positive experience for our children, we decided to only get 2 of the passports done at this location. We are getting the rest done at a different facility altogether so we can have a better experience. We have additional concerns about this location. When we called before we got there, to get prices and find out what documents we needed, that same lady quoted us $100 each, and said a money order would be required. She did not tell us that for adults the cost was actually $130. It took me being told the right price by a different facility, and then calling the League City location back to confirm, to realize that I had indeed been given the wrong information. If I hadn't called a different location, I would've shown up with a money order for the wrong amount. Which means I wouldn't have been able to start the passport application until I left and went back to get the right money order amount. Based on how nasty this lady was, for no reason, and almost as soon as we walked in the door, I now believe she gave us that crucially false information on purpose. Yet another concern we have, is because in the reviews, someone posted that their passport was sent off without a signature from the worker, causing them to have to restart their passport process, which is already a long process. They weren't even notified until a month had passed! The way the chubby, shoulder-length, brown-haired lady seemed to purposely give us the wrong information, then treat us rudely and rushed us as we completed the process, I could see her not signing the paperwork. That delay could be significant for people who don't have much wiggle room in their travel schedule. It is a costly and unacceptable error. If you must use this location, then I would ask to work with the blonde lady, even if that meant waiting for her to be available. That way, your process can be a pleasant one. Getting a passport for us was supposed to be a fun process, and thanks to the not-so-friendly lady that worked with us, it wasn't. But it still turned into a lesson we were able to teach our children about treating others kindly and what it looks like when that doesn't happen. One of our children asked us, "Why was that lady behaving that way?" and we were able to talk about rudeness and why it's important to treat others well. So, I guess we can thank her for that teachable moment. In conclusion, just go somewhere else. That way, you won't have bad customer service, possible incompetence, faulty and misleading information, or an unpleasant experience. We are going tomorrow to get the rest of our passports done at a totally different facility, and we are all so excited that we get a re-do of the passport experience. Now we just have to cross our fingers that our paperwork was signed by the brown-haired lady that loves her chair, and off we we go. Safe travels everyone! Edit: Found out names. Nancy was so incredibly nice, and helpful too!!
Nice staff but their hours are wrong. They close at noon on Friday not 5:00 as mentioned on Google.
