I always come here when I'm in the area to check out the inventory. I stopped coming by because I thought they closed until someone mentioned that they moved to a new location in the corner of the plaza. Although the selection has diminished over the years with more collectors around, I still usually walk out with something I needed. Prices are very reasonable and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable.
This guy is awesome been going to him for years. He always puts the costumer first and has evolved since he first started. One thing I will say is he really takes in costumers advise and improves his store and helps the best he can. Everyone needs to give him more credit in my opinion he’s better then game stop and many other leading game stores.
This is the without a doubt the best used game and movie shop I've been to. The prices are very fair, and there's a good selection. If they don't have something you're looking for, they don't try and push other stuff on you. There are games and equipment from every system - the super retro ones to the very newest. They know their stuff! I have to say that Doc that is there is an absolute genius. We brought in 2 PS4 controllers that weren't working. Within 45 minutes he had diagnosed the problem, taken them apart, fixed the broken parts inside, and put them back together - all without looking anything up. Also dismantled a 3rd controller an old broken one they had in the shop to use some of its parts. Just brilliant! The price for all this exceeded reasonable. I definitely recommend this place. There's no pressure to buy something like some game stores when you go in. Very relaxed atmosphere. So glad this place is around!!
I have never had a problem here and Doc has always been a joy to speak with. He is always so kind and helpful, even with things that arent video game related. The prices are reasonable and trade ins always go smoothly, the atmosphere is light and welcoming. I recommend this place to all of my gaming buddies.
Great and friendly guy who has an incredible and in-depth knowledge of vintage games. He's also familiar with PCs and does his own hobbyist tinkering with open-source software like Linux boxes etc. He will also just have a great conversation with you if you are willing. No pressure to buy something or anything of that sort. But for the love of God Batavia let's get a real gaming community around this guy! Would love to have him around by me in Buffalo. Let's get some real retro-gaming connoisseurs in the building, and stop trying to barter off your dusty copies of Madden 2009 for stupid asking prices. It's a game store, not a pawn shop!
Great place to buy games from and prices very reasonable. Owner Doc is a kind person and knows a lot about video game electronics and can even sometimes fix them. Highly recommend this store to buy used video games/systems and movies from there.
Just yesterday i was in this store with my boyfriend and witness the most unfriendly and disrespectful customer service in my life!!!! I hope whoever reads this takes in to consideration how this store treats customers. I saw a customer request a bag for his purchase and then be verbally harassed for asking for a bag. This guy menchend the need of a bag due to being disable and having to walk back home. The owner of the store aggressively got verbal and said if i give you a bag then i am going to charge you higher on your purchase what the hell???? I m mean this owner was up in this customers face. All of this unfriendlyness was just out right wrong and more then anything uncalled for. We will not be going back to this store ever.
One of my favorite video game stores! The owner is super cool and nice. He really knows his stuff, and the prices are very reasonable. Good selection of retro and new.
The staff are always ready to answer any questions you may have. My last 2 visits was to have repair work done and the cost was more then fair and turn around time was short. Well worth the visit
Great place, friendly staff. It's in the corner of the plaza, so I didn't see it at first. Absolutely reccomend for anyone who enjoys games and systems from years past or looking to pick up some used games for cheap.
