Cool store and great gaming area. Anything and everything you need for role-playing. Rare board games in stock. Plenty of parking.
A great place to pick up stuff for D&D or any other tabletop game and they have an amazing selection of board games and trading cards. One of the few places I love going to that carries a ton of accessory items for trading cards and tabletop games in general.
Product, particularly Magic products, are extremely overpriced. Small hand sized Pokemon plushie was $25. Do not shop here if you're looking for a decent price. New Wilds of Eldraine Collector's ediition box is preselling for $300, when you can find it for $198-$225 at most other places. I'm all for supporting local game stores, but not at these outlandish prices.
Okay I went in here not knowing what it was expecting something different. found a gem that anybody in the dungeons and dragons is going to love. I would have given it a five-star but it did seem a little short on inventory. Give this place some love and let's let them be able to expand their selection!
Games Universe is a gem of a small business. Great and friendly staff, including staff members who are dedicated to helping new players. I frequent this shop often for my hobby needs as the selection makes it easy to pick up and go. They have a vast collection of board games that compares to board game barrister AND have playing space for you to try them out. I love both the Franklin and Brookfield locations.

The owner deleted my first review, so here it is again. My opinion hasn’t changed. My partner and I went in just before New Years to grab some bulk commons. Since they were bulk commons, we didn’t count how many we grabbed, just a chunk. When we got to the register, they counted the cards. There were 228. They rang them into the computer and gave us the total. $127 $127 for 228 bulk common MTG cards. That comes out to about $0.56 per card. Most of these were only worth $0.02-$0.06. The most expensive was probably close to $0.12. At most, the transaction should have been $20-$30. We laughed our way out the door. Don’t give them your money. They don’t deserve it. Buy your stuff online.
Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. A great selection for table top games
This is my favorite local games store. They have a good selection of board games, D&D minis and accessories, a good paint selection Vallejo and Citadel need to fill more of their orders though, lots of dice, a pretty good 40k set selection again, GW needs to fill more orders, and a friendly staff. Prices are MSRP or very close, up or down.
Always coming here for MtG and biard game needs* fantastic staff and always has what I want / need* great gifting store to buy locally!
