Had to stop in twice today. First time was great, seemed like the one guy working was new and being trained. Ended up with a case without a game, which is fine, people make mistakes. Was awfully busy too. Called and the lady that answered was really apologetic. Said if I came in, issue would be fixed. Stopped in later this evening and she checked some computer stuff and got my issue resolved really fast. Looked around a bit and got told about good clearance sales. Overall did great with how super busy it was both times. Only complaint is that they’d do better with two people working!
This store needs to hire people with customer service skills. The young lady with pink hair sat on her phone while we were inquiring about a game. Just because you consider yourself a gamer doesn’t mean you should lack basic customer service and communication skills.
Went to the midnight release of Tears of the Kingdom, back on the 12th. Saw the 1 star review left and felt it would be best to say that the two gentlemen that came in and seemed to know the female worker both left before any preorder things were given out, and by the time I was checked out, the box they had with bonuses was completely empty. Girl and guy were really apologetic, and explained that they only received about 50 bonuses to cover the 100 preorders that they had. The two workers did a great job for how many people were involved in the event and definitely deserve praise, not hate over a piece of wood.
If I could not give a star I wouldn't. The lady there was nosey about my purchase and another customer paid for a game it was the wrong game inside. After he came back then was charged extra for there mess up. Poor poor customer service
Came here tonight for the release event for Zelda: Tears of the kingdom. The girl that was running it came out prior to opening the doors, and gave out tickets to get collectors editions, but informed us that we could not have the special wooden plaques unless we were there to pick up a pre-order... but she was sure to tell 2 of her friends that showed up after I did that she made sure to reserve 2 copies for them.
This store was in disarray. It didn't look open and signage was hanging crooked by one hook.
Good place to go for video games for my grandson
Went to the store 1/11/23 to place a preorder, it was a little after 8pm. Online it says they’re open until 9, but I know sometime the Google hours aren’t up to date. I couldn’t see what the hours on their sign were, but the shutters aren’t closed I think? The new shutters they have always seem like they could be closed but you can still see inside fine and the neon open sign is on. There is someone in a folding chair by the door don’t know if it was an employee are not, they were on their phone. I go up, door is locked. Person sitting by door looks up at me, then went back to looking at phone. If the store did close earlier than 9 fine, I get it. But maybe turn off the neon open sign? And if you’re an employee and you see someone at the door trying to indicate to you that your open sign is still on, maybe be more observant? I just went to Walmart to put the down payment for the game.
Kids adore this place for Thier gaming items
There are two stores in Southern Indiana, this store and Veterans Parkway. I'll just say this, I will never go to this store again. They don't open the store at the advertised times, certain employees are condescending & dishonest about fulfillment, and I've just had too many bad experiences here that I've never had at Veterans Parkway. Go there, not here.
