Website says open. Sign on door says open. Showed up at 2:55p. Locked up tight. Employee came, went in and Re-locked the door at 3:11p. Other customers came and looked upset as well. Are the employees just in there gaming? Just order online
I bought a pre-owned Xbox One from them and when I opened the box, I realized I was not given an HDMI cord. I decided that I wanted to return it and when I went, they would not accept it because it did not have an HDMI cord. The lady working said she would check and give me a call, but never did. I would not recommend this GameStop.
Didn't have what we wanted, but the staff was super friendly and helped us search
I come into this store about once a month to redeem my $5 power up rewards credit, and every time I do the staff are always really cheerful and helpful! They always are very knowledgeable on what games are coming out for the systems I own, and are almost always willing to have a conversation about the games I'm interested in. They will help me decide if a game would be enjoyable, and never pressure me to make a purchase. I'm always thankful for the staff at this store, and I will continue to keep coming back for the foreseeable future!
Got the run around from another store but the store manager here went the extra mile and resolved the issue and then some!
Decent little game store. Nothing really special. Prices are a bit much for most of the merchandise, but there's not a lot of competition for them in town anymore so supply and demand comes into play. They do have a decent selection of video games between the three store locations in Lafayette. Each store is fairly small and therefore does not hold a lot of product. If they just bought 1 bigger store so you didn't have to run all over town to a game, it would be a lot better. I also get the hint that this is not a great place. There is almost always a new face behind the desk when I go in there. I might be wrong, but just how it seems. The stores are however pretty clean and well organized when I come in.akes it easy to find what you are looking for.
The guys down at the levy location are super with their customer service. My now 14 year-old has been doing business with them for years. They are always honest and work with him to get the most bang for his buck, creating a faithful customer. Good job guys!
Helpful, friendly staff. Good selection of used games with okay prices - particularly the older EA Sports games. A year or two old, and it's usually only a few bucks. You won't get much for your trade-ins, but I can't blame this location for that.
Store employee was nice, but they don't carry ANY consoles in stock in the store! They had a lot of toys in the store though. They should rename themselves Toy Stop. If I wanted to "find the info online", I didn't need to go to the store to have the employee read me the prices and what they have, turns out I can do that from home, where I left from, to go to the place that doesn't carry the consoles. Not sure why they have a store frankly, but again, the employee was pleasant; I recognize it wasn't his decision.
