First time visiting this GameStop. We drove almost 30 miles to this specific location because it was the closest one that had a pre-owned copy of Dead Space on PS5. I immediately realized that the store was busy, at least compared to the locations I'm used to visiting. I also noticed that there was only one staff member working when I was there named Taylor. Taylor was being pulled left and right from different groups of demanding customers and I could not help but notice how she remained professional, friendly, and helpful the entire time. She was able to juggle every customer on the floor while also cashing out people at the desk. I was so impressed by how calm and collected she remained, even when rude customers were demanding her attention when she was helping others. Taylor is an outstanding representative of GameStop and this location.
Screw GameStop, especially this location. I used to love coming in here to buy games but now they’re so sales oriented. They keep shoving the membership down customers throats. This one girl, I forgot her name, but she was way too cheerful, wouldn’t stop shoving the membership down my throat. I know it isn’t the employees fault, it’s more the manager, Steven. I’ve come in a couple times and his arrogance rubs off the wrong way. The dude doesn’t belong in customer service. He has no manners and he’ll be the reason why this location will close.
Not a dig on the store itself. The woman that helped me was so smiley and cheerful that she made my whole day. I wish i could remember her name so she could be recognized for being a great employee. My 1 star review is solely because the company itself is going way down hill. Games are overpriced, they give you next to nothing for trade in value, raising the prices of their memberships that literally give you 0 benefit. They also make you pay ahead for pre-orders obviously but half the time they don't even get your product in and then give you a hard time about getting your money returned. This company is like Blockbuster, slowly becoming extinct for reasons like this. They have a terrible business model that is just getting worse.
The employee Steve wouldn't swap out my whole system he would only swap out my controller. I highly recommend do not come here worst experience
Staff is always great. Stock is random, so maybe call before if you're looking for something specific.
Came here to preorder Forza Horizon 4, just the game. But after doing some research I ended up preordering the 100$ Horizon package. It’s much much better and you definitely save money in the long run. They answered all my question about external hard dives. They had a pretty good selection of Hard drives but I wanted a brand new one. So I went to Best Buy next door for that. Plus I had a gift card. I ended up grabbing the new Phantom black controller. Don’t be tricked by the outside packaging of the box ahah. It looks like there’s designs on the controller case but it’s actually smoked clear. So you can see the components inside the controller. Highly recommend it. As well as this GameStop!
Associate who helped during my visit was very kind. I miss the old days of going into GS and having a convo with employees about what I’m playing currently.
The customer service is terrible, the go to answer for a lot of the questions is you have to take it up with customer support when a lot of the resolutions can be done in store since I used to work at GameStop. The excuse for everything is company policy when that is not the case.
Tom was very informative and fast, he was able to answer all my son's questions, great customer service.
Clean environment with excellent employees in my experience. Last time I went, one of them actually went out of their way to tell me they didn't have items of a particular category in stock while I was browsing. Very helpful.
