One single worker, busy doing stuff on the computer. Although he was willing to help me when I asked. No other customers in sight, brick and mortar stores are slowly going the way of the dinosaurs, Gamestop included. Most people download their games directly to their console and amount a digital library. I don't know how much longer this chain can keep its doors open.
The guy working there really knew his stuff and was very helpful.
Store is randomly closed at 2:45 in the afternoon but has lights on inside? After driving over 30 minutes to the location even though their hours are supposedly "open" at this time. What a waste.
place is a joke make thier own hours up. they say close at 7 came in 2hours early before work to get here and ofcourse 630 gates down and locked up
Drove an hour to get there because the Hudson location closed two hours early just for the Bimbo behind the counter to tell me she wouldn’t help me because it was 10 min to closing. My process would have take 5min had she not wasted it trying to cover her own Butt by explaining how “sorry” she was as she followed me out the door to close the store early. Literally just now. I’m currently sitting in the parking lot writing this. At 7:00 pm.
Good: they had the system I wanted and I walked out with it. Bad: obnoxiously pushy about memberships and warrantees. I said No so many times. Apparently despite the fact that I said I want no waranttees, the employees are required to ask about EVERY SINGLE ITEM, and to explain all the things the waranttees cover each time. Also I couldn't get the help I wanted because the employees were pushing memberships and warrantees instead of helping me. I won't be back and I wish I had shopped somewhere else. So annoying and unpleasant.
They had everything I needed in stock. The girl working the counter helped me figure out which Zelda game I was looking to get even though I couldn't remember its name. You definitely don't get an associate that knows what they are talking about when you get games at a place like Target or Walmart.
Hours said open at 11 but been standing here for an hour and a half been calling and nobody wants to answer wven though the lights are on‍
This is a good Game Stop. It's just a little weird to visit because it sits all alone in an otherwise almost completely dead mall. It's like wandering through a zombie apocalypse and happening across ... Well, a Game Stop. I guess what I'm saying is if there is a zombie apocalypse, go here. Something keeps them from dieing and it can't be natural.
It's a GameStop, these days that's not a good thing.
