Garden City, sometimes known as Garden City Beach, is a census-designated place (CDP) in Horry County, South Carolina, United States. While Garden City is sometimes considered to be a city it is not incorporated and does not yet have a city council or mayor. The population was 9,357 at the 2000 census and the 2010 population estimate is around 11,014. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.12% of the population.
