We had an AMAZING time here! Stayed in a Bunkhouse for 4 nights. It is just that..A Bunkhouse! Bunk bed another bed, nightstand and a small table. That's it..but who cares! We were never there during most of the daytime as we were sightseeing but late afternoon/evening there was plenty to do.. pools, an arcade old school .25 games , food trucks, plenty of walking, entertainment on Sundays, friendly fellow campers, wildlife friends squirrels, coons, and even watched a deer hop in front of our place.. not to mention seeing all of the various dogs going for walks with their human companions! Our 8 year old had no problem making new friends and having fun without electronics!! The bathroom was very close to our bunkhouse and was kept very clean! The staff was courteous and helpful. We truly had a great experience and would definitely do it again! Highly recommend! If I could make an entertainment recommendation to GOG RV .. have a resort bingo game of all the states or dog varieties etc.. that would be fun!
Camped in A section for two nights while visiting family in town. Easy phone reservation and late check in was a breeze. Excellent directions and info packet. Biggest kudos for the bathrooms and showers were kept clean no matter the time of day you wandered in! It’s a large park, but it was peaceful and everyone was friendly. My little dog and I enjoyed the dog park amenity as well. Thanks for an easy stay!
Thoroughly enjoyed staying here for a few days. Amazing breakfast truck that had awesome food to start the day. The front desk was extremely knowledgeable and helped out with everything I needed. Perfect view of Pikes peak as well as a very short distance to Garden of the Gods. Can't wait to visit again!
Very nice little RV park. We stayed here in November. The spaces are pretty close together, but luckily we were on the end. Bathrooms were nice, showers were hot. We really liked the location of this place - near some restaurants, Safeway, downtown Manitou, Starbucks, etc.
We have been here almost 2 weeks now and it's been really nice. The spaces between RVs is adequate, the Laundry Room is awesome and has showers and toilets, the Lobby is really cool and they even retail some RV gadgets in the lobby. The wifi is pretty fast too. I have not tried the little food truck vendor, but I will eventually. Located next to the RV Park is the bike trail where we have enjoyed epic bike rides every weekend. The only two things that kept the place from getting 5 stars is 1-the price $$$ and 2-theres no recycling near by.
Garden of the gods RV resort really is an amazing place. My son and I stay here often. we host our home on Airbnb, and this place has become our second home. The park is always filled with families and kids from all over the world, and we really enjoy meeting so many wonderful people. Playground: The playground is the hub for kids. That's where the adventure always start. Restrooms: The restrooms always seem to be in good order. The showers are great, and there is plenty of room to get ready in the mornings. Dog-friendliness: The dog park is always buzzing with all kinds of breeds and owners from all over the world. Picnic area: Every site has a picnic area, and there is also community gathering spots all over the park. The pools, playgrounds, event center and arcade all provide picnic areas. There is also a food court with several food trucks and plenty of seating.
Hi, I’ve never done a review before but felt I needed to in this one. The girl at the front desk was very friendly, but that doesn’t help with the site being level and the 50 amp not working unless you turned on both the 30 and 50 amp breakers. The garbage was overflowing and looked like a dump with two ratty looking chairs outside the dumpster and a mattress on tip of the dumpster. James did help us with the power problem and told us there had been complaints about this very same thing. Overall the campground wasn’t taken care of. My husband and I have been traveling for the last three summers and have stayed at many campgrounds and I be to say that this one was prob one of the worst if not the worst. We paid $116 for one night which was nowhere near worth it!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND this place!!!
I'm thoroughly disappointed with this place! My family stayed here last year and the wash/bath houses were spotless. This year however was a whole different ball game. The facilities were filthy! There was hair in the drains most days we were there. The washers in 2 bath houses had animal hair in them and they smelled very musty. My son made the mistake of going in the mens bathhouse with no shoes and he came had to wash his feet in the shower since he was sticking to urine on the floor. The next day he wore his shoes but those stuck as well. I'm wandering what happened to this place? I was planning a yearly trip here, but now I'm hesitate. I'm attaching the few photos I have.
This was our second time to camp here. First time was about 4 stars - nothing bad, excellant location, facility above average, and great personal. Second stay was above board, trip was a nightmare, blowout on 5th wheel trailer, after arriving tow vehicle had issues and had to be towed to dealership, our sweet pet of fifteen years died and it took several days for repair on my truck. We ended up having to stay several days longer than planned, and our site was booked solid for other campers, but we had no way to move our rv. The camp staff really stepped up and rescued us. Especially Jessica, she was an angel and we can never thank her enough!! I would also like to thank James who was a big help also. This team help make a terrible time bearable. I would give this resort 10 stars if I could!!
