Expected more help, needed help left msgs for a juvenile detective he never returned my calls..
The parking enforcement officers lie in order to make their monthly quota. I tried to contest a ticket and supposedly I didn’t have a valid claim which is nonsense. One word of advice, record when the enforcement officer say you can leave, or else they will say you drove off before they can give you the citation! I’ve learned my lesson!
U guys are just thisty for money giving parking ticket that's some bullsh** tf is "NO PARKING MONDAY and Thursday then say no stopping any time Why didn't officer give the truck and the other cars a ticket. Go Stop Crimes instead of giving tickets u lowlife lazy cop

This police department is a whole joke. When you get assaulted you’re treated like the suspect. They don’t care about really helping people at all. If you’re in Gardena and you’re in trouble save your time. Office Gutierrez/Gutzerrez how ever he spelled it it a joke of a cop. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend any of them.
Ive been to this PD many times for minor things like parking tickets. They are usually friendly and courteous. I've had a few parking tickets waived as a courtesy and in general if you walk in and treat them with the respect they deserve they will treat you fairly and in a professional manner. Quick response times too. I feel safe knowing they are patrolling my neighborhood. Thank you Gardena PD. My tax dollars well spent.
I have never in my life seen a police department more dedicated and committed to keeping crime at bay while not treating local hard working citizens like criminals. It's refreshing that during a time when it's become easy for the media and public to chastise police where most people haven't lived a day in an officer's shoes nor would they wish to; that a department such as Gardena PD has the chutzpah to give this nation a prime example of progressive and positive change! I sincerely wish to thank the Gardena PD and all those who faithfully serve and honor the badge of law enforcement. Thank you for your commitment, your risk in faithfully serving us, and protecting us even when we as a nation, are sometimes too ignorant to see who our enemy really is; ourselves. With utmost sincerity, thank you for protecting us from ourselves.
The Hawthrone Police Department does not want to be reviewed, so i will leave the review with their neighboring department. Maybe its because of the 1.9 rating. That number is wrong. Anyway I can say first hand that they are a good department, my visit there wasn't by choice. With that said, for what I was going for, guilty or not i was not, I would have been very forceful and hard with me, had I been in the officers shoes. There are certain things you cant escape. Life here is easy, but wait until you go before your maker. For what it's worth, during my whole ordeal which last 10 hours before I even went to the lock up, Officer Skovold, Officer Salcido and Officer Lucero were exceptionally professional, and went by the book with me, I even went a little over board, and they gave me my space. Respect, no, i dont want respect from them, because i don't think a criminal, even accused deserves respect. The officers should always be respected, for their diligent unrelenting work, they dont get thank enough. This my experience, in the end I knew what would happen, but it still was a very frustrating experence to say the least.
This team is awesome. My son has mental health issues; I'm a single mom... Gardena police are guardian angels from the Lord. I don't know what I would do would GP. Thank you so much for your service. I wish all police departments could immulate your team.
Neighbors decided to throw a party tonight right outside my home, and I've got work at 5AM. The police were called and came out multiple times but nothing was really done, the party just got louder and louder each time. I called them one last time and they tell me to deal with it because the party is supposed to end at midnight. Gardena has no ordinance for handling noise, I guess. Regardless they tell me they'll go out and warn them again. They didn't show up until midnight over 40 minutes later, coincidentally, when the party was supposed to end. Absolutely no help at all.
