We had a wonderful consultative experience with Drew! He really took the time to understand our needs and wants -- and then directed us to the best options to fulfill them. As we tried various mattresses, he explained their advantages and disadvantages and answered our many questions. We really appreciated his knowledge and helpfulness. Our new mattress will arrive in a few weeks, and we're confident we made the right choice thanks to Drew's assistance and the quality of the products Gardner's carries.
Expected shopping for a new queen mattress after 40 years, to be a tedious process. DREW proved for me that Gardner's had what I wanted, at sale prices and guaranteed my total satisfaction. No high-pressure sales. The technology of mattress construction has changed so much since we last shopped. Drew was patient, very knowledgeable and asked all the right questions to understand what I had, what I was looking for and what my expectations were! I am super pleased so far and expecting delivery, set up and take away within a few weeks. Can't wait! THANK YOU DREW for fantastic experience.
It was with great reluctance that I accompanied my husband to your anniversary sale. So many businesses offer the moon but when you get there, they try and sell you something more expensive. I was presently surprised to discover that this was not the case with your store. Drew gave us a couple of minutes before he approached us. He took the time to find out exactly what we were looking for and why. He did not steer us to super expensive mattresses but rather kept us within our budget, there was no pressure or aggression that we have encountered more often than not. Drew is also an excellent educator. We were able to buy 2 new mattresses and still stay within our budget. Also delivery was prompt and courteous! Thank you for a great shopping experience.
Buying my mattresses at Gardner's was the best experience I've ever had purchasing mattress. Drew is great to work with. He answered all of our questions in detail, and made suggestions to try out many different mattresses. He explained how each mattress was made, etc., and we ended up purchasing a different mattress than we had planned! I 100% recommend this store. I would not go anyplace else to purchase a mattress.
Drew was awesome to work with. We did not feel pressure to purchase a mattress but rather he took the time to thoroughly explain different options and asked us questions to pinpoint the type of mattress that would be best suited for us. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the process enjoyable. Our bed was in stock and they scheduled a quick delivery for us. Very pleased with our experience.
If there is one thing I do not like about the online shopping experience, is that we are killing off critical shopping experiences. Of all things that should remain in a physical location for the "physical" shopping experience, it is a mattress. I also enjoyed the fact that Gardner actually has some of the top rated "online" mattresses to try out physically. I also think it is smart that they are getting custom tailored mattresses made to their specifications. I think that is and will continue to be critical to the survival of any brick and mortar store. In the end, we felt that the information we were given and the physical experience of the custom made mattress was exactly what we were looking for in a mattress. Yes, it was not the cheaper option, but a good quality mattress is one place in life that you should not cut corners on. I would say that it only comes second in importance to the quality of tires you put on your car. If you have not paid the extra money for a quality mattress, you really should reassess your priorities in life. Do yourself and everyone else a favor, if you are looking for a new mattress, go to Gardner's as part of your shopping experience.
I liked the message I first saw that one of your goals was to make people feel good about mattress stores! It was so nice to walk in and not get "attacked" by 2 or 3 sales people. Drew met us at the door and the experience could not have been more pleasurable and simple. No hard selling tactics or gimmicks. He actually listened to us and made sure that we were comfortable during the sales cycle. My wife and I are from Connecticut and when we discovered that "Gold Bond" mattresses was still around we were impressed knowing of their reputation. Thank you! Dan Sweeney
Going to Gardner's was a very pleasant shopping experience for my husband and I. Our salesman, Drew was very knowledgeable and took time to sit down with us and answer all our questions. Even the delivery guys were very kind, courteous and careful when setting up our new bed. The whole experience was exceptional.
After researching & talking to friends, I decided Gardner’s Mattress was the place for us. I was above and beyond impressed with the customer service, knowledge and quality of the mattress I chose. Both men were equally helpful. I highly recommend Gardner‘s to anyone looking for a family owned business and mattresses that are made for comfort and to last. They even had a nice selection of organic mattresses.
We were so happy we went to Gardner’s Mattress, to check out the split queen mattresses. We never knew they had a flexi-split queen, and that’s what we purchased. Phil knew everything about all the different mattresses they sell, and was so patient, in letting us test them out. We also went with an adjustable base, which will make our sleeping at night a dream! Thanks so much Gardner’s!!
