Awesome food, excellent service. Found this place a few years ago and finally made it back. Definitely a gem. Garry’s salad is a great combination. Wife had the chicken Marsala and I had herb crusted salmon. Both fantastic. Won’t wait so long to go back next time.
Best experience ever! 5* food and service. Cozy booths with very attentive staff. Amazing homemade cream of crab with sherry. Partner got the hand battered fresh Rockfish. Huge, delicate flakey inside. Wow Best mashed potatoes and tender tasty huge steaks and fresh veggies cooked to perfection. Wednesday night $7 burgers too! Take home famous homemade pumpkin muffins! See pics!
Top notch customer service from the second we walked in the door to the second we left! Rob is excellent Food was delicious!! Clean bathroom, clean dining room, handicap accessible, very accommodating, super friendly! 5 stars for sure and we will be back for sure!
Always good food at a fair price in a great casual atmosphere. Hashbrown casserole is to die for. Shrimp and grits...total yum. Went again today. Food came out cold, so disappointed. Here's today's pic compared to the last time I was here. Tried again and total yummy breakfast!
Not as good as a previous visit. It would have tasted better had the food arrived hot or at least warm. Not a hint of warmth in the eggs and potatoes. Not seasoned either. The bacon was good and crispy but again, cold.
First time visit and was a very nice experience! Food was very good, service was great! Sue was very friendly and Corey was very interested in our thoughts on the restaurant. We will definitely be back and pass on to our friends. Although this is a hidden gem of
This is one of my fav spots in aa co. Their food is authentic and each dish has something a little special and unique about it. Their staff are amazing and work really well together. Even when they are slammed, the service wait time, and taste of food is on point. Also, be sure to try their 7.00 burger n fries/tots Wednesday special. Yummmmm
I had the most unusual and unique breakfast, to date , here. If your a fan of ol fashion with a tweak, you gotta try the Breakfast Bomb. Deep fried fans and foodies will love this 1 ! I'd give details, but that'd spoil the surprise of the dish....
Stopped by tonight for the first time for dinner. The service was fine but wasn't too impressed with the food. I ordered Brian's Peppercorn Sirloin on the recommendation of staff and a small Gary's salad. The pears were canned and not great in a salad and the candied pecans were far too sweet with all the other sweetness going on in my opinion. The size of the salad was pretty good for a side, however. As for the steak, while cooked properly, the mushrooms and onions weren't sauteed at all and were pretty much raw. This and a sauce that reminded me way too much of Salisbury Steak Sauce ruined what might have been an otherwise acceptable cut of meat. The garlic mashed potatoes were acceptable but weren't served hot. The sauteed veggies that came with were ok. My wife ordered a beyond burger which satisfied her, but also was topped with "sauteed" onions that were essentially raw. The onion rings may have been the best part of the night, hot, fresh and whole rings of onion inside. ______ Reply to owner: Canned pears and super sweet pecans might be for some people, maybe even most, but it wasn't for me. Serving raw onions and mushrooms on top of a steak and burger isn't a matter of preference, it shows that the person preparing the food either doesn't know what they're doing behind the grill or just doesn't care. I don't even know what to say about the Beyond Burger comment, it's on your menu and my wife is a vegetarian. It's not just fair game, but the only reason we came to the restaurant in the first place. If a manager had come by and asked how things were, I would have let them know. I provided my opinion based on my experience, I'm sorry you don't like my opinions, but I don't apologise for either having them nor for sharing them on a review site. When I read other people's dining reviews I want to know what to eat and what to steer clear of. There's a million places to eat dinner at, but you only have 1 chance to make a great first impression. Unfortunately this one fell less than great.
I've only been once, but it was pretty good experience. End of June they have all outdoor seating, pretty happy with their safety precautions. Crab and shrimp quesadilla appetizer was excellent. I had pork chop which was surprisingly undercooked sent it back and it came out really good. My friend got the fish and chips and we were all amazed at the piece of rockfish was like the size of her forearm. Never seen such a big piece of fish for that dish. I had a bite of that and it was great. Chocolate mousse cake for dessert was also a big hit. Just have to ask for the original recipe where it's all moose inside.
