Gary/Chicago International Airport

Great view watching military aircraft take off and land!

Easy to get to class D with a nice FBO, got to see a few F/A 18’s on the ramp. Gary Jet Charter has a crew car, and there is a White Castle near by. The controllers are ok too.

The only business the Gary international Airport gets is the federal government flying illegal aliens in, and out of there in the cover of night. We see you.

Not sure what kind of airport this is, it never has planes or people, and there is no restroom.

Nice airport can't still understand why there's no passenger service to destinations like Florida, and why is there very little commercial shipping there seems perfect for amazon etc

Nice FBO and a good airport in general. Just make sure to avoid going into the actual city of Gary when you visit.

Absolutely the best kept secret as far as proximity to downtown Chicago and flying privately. I'm here on a weekly basis and the staff is amazing would highly recommend this airport to anyone who's interested in top flight no nonsense transportation services!
