In June of 1986, Gary Leland and Leo Job opened Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods IGA in Havre, Montana. Gary & Leo’s operate stores in Conrad and Florence, Montana. Both men had worked for Buttery Food’s for years and were well educated in the grocery business. Thanks to the hard work of invaluable employees and the support of their families, the stores have become successful community businesses with over 200 employees.
Leo Job passed away January 2005. Gary continues to strive to make Gary & Leo’s the best place to shop in town. Leo’s son, Tracy Job, and Gary’s daughter & son-in-law, Laura & John Malisani are an integral part of the Gary & Leo’s team.
In 2008 Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods in Havre moved from the original location in Havre to a larger location down the street. The new location gave them the opportunity to develop a larger selection of products and services, including a Health Mart pharmacy.
