Nice place to hang around and the views of the Seattle skyline is amazing and unobstructed. One of the less touristy spots of Seattle. With all the abandoned industrial structures it’s pretty cool and you can take plenty of pics and selfies here. Lots of room to explore and run around. There is a beach here with views of the lake and skyline. The playground here will keep the little kids entertained. One of the most unique public parks I been too. If you’re going to Seattle make sure you add this place on the itinerary!
The park's steep grassy hills offer supreme city and lake views, the skyline of Seattle. You could also have a picnic here Recommend to visit in the after with beautiful sunset The park nearby Fremont Troll.
Super cool looking park with the huge rusted factory and the wonderful skyline views in the back. We didn't stay long as the day was ridiculously HOT HOT HOT. This park doesn't really have a lot of shade and there wasn't very much wind so it was way too hot to hang out for long. That being said, it was more our faults for going right in the middle of the day. I could see coming earlier in the morning or closer to dusk and it being great.
Seattle's skyline is best viewed from my favorite park. While there may not be a plethora of activities to partake in, it's an ideal spot to take in the cityscape. Parking is gratis, but it can be challenging to secure a spot during peak hours. This locale is perfect for picnicking, as many folks can be seen doing so. Also a good spot to get a book and hang out for a bit. The park is quite safe. I wholeheartedly suggest taking a trip to this park to take in the breathtaking skyline.
An excellent place to spend your evening during summer months. This place provides a panoramic and picturesque view of the lake and downtown Seattle skyline. This place is family and kids friendly, although during weekends finding car parking space can be challenging, however it's worth the effort considering the view you get.
Fun place for a summer sunset picnic! There is one part at sunset where everything looks golden and cotton candy. It is beautiful. I recommend sitting at the bottom of the hill by the water if you can. Bring off! There are definitely hornets/ yellow jackets that start coming after a couple of hours.
Much more than the name promises! Aside from a great view onto Seattle skyline, the have lots of technical interesting pieces; you can walk through old plants and touch the stuff. The park also has some walking trails and a little hill.
This is a good place to stroll around or just hang around anytime. Great view of downtown and boats on lake Union. On Thursday evenings there are thousands doing yoga.
I thought this park was super cool! The old gassification plant structures are really interesting. This park features a pretty good view of the skyline and a nice walking path. There's a small playground and lots of space to sit in the grass. It makes for a nice stroll in the morning or at any point during the day.
This park has one of the best views of the skyline in the city. There is a large playground area. I would have rated this park 3.5 stars if there were an option. The park is big, but the ducks have pooped everywhere where there is a scenic view. This is not an exaggeration. It's all dry, but it's something to note if that type of thing bothers you.
