Too expensive. They charge a $50 deposit that goes towards nothing. $475+tax and the deposit=$597 a month for a poorly maintained property. Yes, the Hurricanes, Laura and Delta had gone through. But, there was trash everywhere and not quality sites, too close together and just gravel. It's a good place to stay if you're a temporary worker out for 12 hours a day. Not very friendly either.
Not to bad of a place. But I do have a few complaints. The grass is poorly maintained and the RV spots are partially gravel the rest is mud. Great location, but park need updated. When it rains it turns into a mud hole.
Everything is fine until you turn the corner! Ever seen a trashy trailer park then feast your eyes on this one! Grass a mile high, nothing but rock, dirt and mud! The whole field looks sketchy! No way would I put my McNeese student in this filth! Doesn't look safe none whatsoever! Try better!
This could be a nice RV park but already they he have units with trash surrounding them. Although Passport America, if it wasn't the pricing would be too high. Also the entrance sign needs to say RV Park. Currently RV is only in the website at the bottom. Had to look for it. Almost drove past.
I have been here for a while. It used to be ok..price is too high. It used to be quiet and i felt safe but for the last couple months its not good at all. Loud music 24/7 from friday afternoon till sunday night so i get very little sleep. People are now teolling trying to break into vehicles. People coming from the other side of fence..drug dealer/ loud music players make it so i wont vring my grands here to visit
The sites are gravel and dried mud. This would be a terrible park if it rained. For a quick overnight with no rain, it was bearable.
Nice area needs improvements, close to just about everything gyms, restaurants etc. Laundry facilities is really small restrooms just as small. They accept mail and its kept in back. They offer military discount compared to the one on broad street they were charging 850.00 a month this one was 550 a month all utilities included. They have wifi but distance is limited to use. If i return I'd definitely come back here.
Terrible experience. Bathrooms are not heated. We were frozen. NO Hot water either for a shower. No shower hooks either to keep our clothes. Hand towel paper roll is full, but not put thru the noozle, & hence couldn't be used. No bench to sit outside our site either. No cable. I will never stay here again.
The place is a good one to stay at, if you want to be in Lake Charles without paying enormous amounts of money for an apartment. Good location, fairly quiet. It's a very basic park; it has two bathrooms, a laundry room, and a small dog park. This is because when it first opened it was essentially a plant worker base camp. Since then it's become a nice little community for the elderly and a prime spot for college students going to Mcneese, since they have a student discount. My only complaint is that the sites are a little too much grass in the grass/gravel ratio. Also, they only have the two bathrooms and some guests as you'll find almost anywhere are absolutely disgusting, disrespectful, and lax in leaving things in a clean state after they've used them. Given that, the staff there do their best to stay on top of keeping the place clean and everyone happy.
Nice people. Managers are always so kind. Rent includes electricity, water, sewage, wifi free. Wouldn't want a more pleasant place to visit or stay a few days, or make a temp. Home if you've been displaced. Has bathroom facilities as well as showers.
