Gates Town Court

I have raised my children in this town,and have no regrets. The school system is just amazing. Although there have been a few kinks ,they always get smoothed out quickly. The community takes care of eachother,and genuinely cares for one another. The Gates police department has wonderful officers who are calm and respectful regardless of the situation. The town supervisor and his family are very kind. All together the town of Gates may be small,but is full of big hearts.

Had to pay ridiculous high school taxes, and get nothing beneficial from this gouging.

Very friendly, and extremely helpful in providing ALL the info and answers I was looking for. Shout-out to Teresa, she went out of her way, to be sure we had ALL the documents we needed. Thank-you.

Veronica, the town clerk is terrible. We had a translated birth certificate and she wouldn’t accept it. Said it needs to be issued by the state… even though the person wasn’t born in the states..? Doesn’t understand the law. Thought a US visa that was approved in US Embassy in Germany was issued by Germany and not the USA when it’s clearly a USA visa issued by USA. Racist lady towards foreigners, got the marriage certificate in the City where the workers are nice human beings who know how to do their job and work according to the law and not make up laws as they go or think.

Buy a house anywhere else. The police oink here.

I live in this town and I loved it. It's quite, neighbors are good. Stores, restaurants and supermarkets are not far away. Everything is close by.

This town is just like any other town as far as profiling goes I have been stopped by state troopers 7 times in 4 mos. I was told i was seen acting suspect behind wheel. Had to show documents of my medical condition only after being thrown in back of sheriff car csuse i have muscle condition an cld not stop moving. . i was cuffed i was treated like a real thug..im 60 yrs old never been to jail . i hate town of gates...LOTS OF PROFILING

Judge Frank Carerra traffic court is the most polite and respectful individual I have ever observed. The young punky looking youths get treated the same as the impeccably dressed middle ager, or the granny. ..Everyone treated with genuine respect. The process is streamlined so you won't be there all night, and the D.A. aka The People seems to make a deal with EVERYONE, except seat belt violations. Aparently they are the most hardened criminals LOL. No need to stress. It will be OK.

This is a professional outfit and I was treated with utmost respect and I really appreciate it They run a good office and a good court.

All the people that I talk to were very helpful and went above and beyond what they needed to do to get the situation resolved
