We made an appointment and was there before time. Got a new Samsung Galaxy tablet at a good price, paid no taxes. Items are tax free this week and next week.
Geek squad has been a nightmare. We will never insure our phones through them again. After 2hrs there in Sunday, 2 hrs on Tuesday and 2.5 hours in Thursday we still have to wait another 2 days to get our phone fixed.
Please do not get your repairs here. They ultimately waste your time as their system for taking in customers is flawed. I had an appointment at 12:20 pm and I had to wait 40 minutes for no service because they were accepting people with no appointments and appointments 5 hours in advance to their call time. I know this as I talked to the people in front of me and asked when their appointment was and they either said 5:30 or no appointment at all. When the geek squad attendant came to sign us off, the attendant did not make those with later times get out of line for the ones that did have an appointment. I'm truly disappointed when I and others try to follow the system yet other customers break it, and are accepted by Geek Squad.
Had an appointment at 5:20 and sat there for about 45 min while a geek squad member chatted with an attractive lady about any and everything not concerning to electronic help. Several other appointment customers made the same comments. Do your job and say goodbye.
We bought our new computer at Best Buy and we were very impressed with the Geek Squad staff. They were very helpful, patient and did not seem to be annoyed with our questions. Highly recommend being a member of Geek Squad as the team certainly know their stuff!
5 geek squad shirts, 2 blue shirt employees behind the geek squad desk, 1 previous customer being helped, but for some unknown reason I was NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED in 25 minutes at the counter. Amazon isn't killing you, you're killing yourself. I will be cancelling my coverage through best buy/geek squad and using an independent repair facility.
I am not pleased with this company at all. First appointment 2 weeks ago they came 30 minutes before the appointment time frame ended and stayed after that time frame. Had to take a whole day off of work waiting for them. Now today they are actually supposed to be fixing my tv. Well I was scheduled for the 8-12 time frame . Looks like you are late and will have to be taking more time off of work. Thank you for nothing Geek Squad...
They're the smartest and nicest people! They knew exactly what I was talking about even though I didn't and struggled to describe my situation! They are always life this too, it's not a one off thing.
My experience this week using the Geek Squad as stress-free as my wait was short and the agents did a FANTASTIC job at servicing my 2 computers.
Came in with an issue that even Apple didn’t have any documentation on. But the employee he who helped us did not give up AND fe was able to solve the problem!
