You can never talk to a person unless you go there in person, and half of them have no clue what you are talking about. I have been a geek squad member since 2012, and I expect to be treated fairly. If my TV finally dies, I will have them come and set it up, and then I will be done with them! My boys know more about troubleshooting than the people there!
Came to the Geek Squad for help with my laptop. It had an issue connecting to the internet and ended up having a network adapter issue. I did not have an appointment, but they were nice enough to take a look at it for me anyways. They were SO kind to me and really tried to fix the issue a couple different ways. It turned out to be a hardware issue, so they showed me exactly what piece I needed as a work around and also told me how I could go about fixing it with the manufacturer if I wanted. I am so so grateful to these guys for helping me get the problem resolved and for being so sweet and patient with me. Fantastic customer service, I will be getting the full plan when I get the chance!
Called customer support and they checked to see if I had a warranty and they said I did. Brought my computer in and they told me I don’t have a warranty and to fix it myself. I hope they all feel really bad about how bad they are at their jobs.
Never again! After dropping off my computer and spending $99 for them to look at it, I was called by them and was told I needed a new motherboard and more RAM. they didn't give me a price yet claimed they spent a "couple of hours" looking at it. The phone call sounded fishy to me so I went to pick up computer back up from them. Because I didn't have an appointment, I had to wait. Once my time came up, the counter person restated what the called the day before told me. He said they don't make my motherboard anymore so I'd have to buy a new, more powerful one. I asked what model of board I had and he couldn't tell me. I took my computer and left. I dropped it off at the Computer Wrench who charged me $60 to give me a new RAM chip and fix a sticky reset button. Now my computer works great no thanks to the Geek Squad.
I went in to see someone from the Geek Squad concerning several problems with my Iphone and Ipad. Dan was very patient and helped resolve my problems quickly. I appreciate his customer service and kindness. I will definitely be going back to him with any future issues I may have on my phone and Ipad.
OMG, that was the most painful phone call I've ever made. Super confusing menus, no easy way to reach a receptionist. Never did actually get to the right person because no one knew what was going on. The reason I called was because they have refused to cancel a phone protection plan on a phone that I traded back to them 2 months ago. The Best Buy employee walked me over to Geek Squad and they said "yes, we have cancelled that service for you" now the person on the phone said they can't do that.... on top of that there will be no refund for the service even though it was their mistake. When I asked for a manager I was told they don't have managers and then they hung up on me. I've managed customer service centers in the cell phone industry in the past. If one of MY agents would have done this they would have been fired instantly. No questions asked. On top of that the audibility of the agent was awful. I kept telling her I couldn't understand her but she kept talking over me. I'd rate a zero star if possible.
AJ was so patient and kind. I will ABSOLUTELY be back. He made sure my issue was resolved and then helped me find other product I needed to find in the store. Quite the gentleman.
I went to Best Buy to pick up my camera from a repair, and they didn't allow me to do so unless I scheduled a time to pick it up ahead of time. This new system is terrible as it prevents anyone from stopping in to pick up something unless you plan for it hours or days ahead of time. After buying 12 cameras over the last 5 years I am now taking my business elsewhere. No flexibility to help customers! My experience was awful!
