They fried my phone while trying to replace the battery. So they sent it to Apple for repair. When I went to pick it up, the rep told me it was a new phone from Apple. I asked if they were going to refund the battery charge since they didn’t replace the battery. Manager came out and said that they covered the Apple charge for battery replacement and that it WASN’T a new device. “Same serial number” he said. Got home and realized it WAS a new phone - completely different serial number.
I have used geek squad quite a few times and they are excellent!!. I'm older, almost in 60'sand other than not understanding that when my computer crashed my data was saved but not the programs, they explained everything and they have always been extremely polite. Paul, Nick and others are very knowledgeable. I don't understand the bad reviews. I trust these guys more than my mechanic, who I finally left and went to a car dealer.
This store is awful. It’s impossible to get any help. The employees here have no idea concept of customer service. I made an appointment online and waited over 30 minutes. The staff scurries to the back and stays there, laughing and talking about the customers. Unbeknownst to them, all of their banter is audible from the front desk. Questions are answered with scripted responses. The Geek Squad is the biggest waste of money A brand new laptop purchased in May 2017 has been “serviced” including a new hard drive! 4 times.
Its just hard to get a fix, my ticket was lost while they had my laptop out for repairs, i went extra 8-10 days without it, and luckily got it back yhe night b4 my new job started smh
Andy and his partner delivered and set-up a Samsung 55-inch 4K tv for me yesterday. They were ultra efficient and helpful, making sure we had a grasp of operating the new system. They even transferred data from the Samsung remote to my personal remote-a huge help! They moved existing equipment to where we wanted it, again a big help to us. I can’t say enough good things about these two men. I was very happy that I chose The Geek Squad to set-up and install our new TV. FYI: This tv was ordered online from the K of P store.
Very unprofessional. Wasted my time to get laptop fixed, and never did fix it, nor they honored the warranty ..what a shame Went there to get laptop fixed many times, and no luck, and never replaced my laptop...and they are just little kids and not professional at all....spend your money somewhere else
I love Best Buy and the geek squad is the best I have always experienced professionalism and courtesy throughout the store and the geek squad always know how to help and fix your problem.
They are always so helpful and on time for appointments. Very knowledgeable and clear about procedures.
So far this has to be the worst warranty ever we have been without our dryer for 2 weeks and we still don't have it fixed they took a week to even come out to look at the problem now they say they can't get the part ,by the way it is a GE dryer seems they should have replaced the dryer and try to keep their customer satisfied it will be close to a month at best before it get's fixed i will no longer buy anything from best buy that i can get somewhere else.
Giving them one star is an over rating. Terrible customer service!!! 10/10 would never recommend!
