I recently made an appointment to have a radio put in my 2007 escalade. I only had to wait a week, which is pretty good. As soon as I signed in, they got right to work. After everything was installed, Collin, my Geek Squad installer, gave me a tutorial on my new radio. I was very pleased.
Store #162 is awesome. Jason, store supervisor, John, Geek Squad Supervisor and Rob, sales person, went ten proverbial extra miles to please me in my recent purchase of a new computer which all but fatally crashed. Taking it back to the store nearly three months later, I never expected a new replacement computer of my choice. However, John promptly gave me the paperwork, without even my receipt, he cheerfully looked it up. Then, when the new computer, upon picking it up after uploads/downloads were performed, somehow, my old computer documents and such were not transferred. I won't bore you with the details, but I was a very unhappy camper. Long story short, it was merely miscommunication between myself and two employees. Mistakes happen in communications and lack thereof, but all those involved never once feigned their help, regret for the mistake and assistance in making me happy. I would highly recommend this store and these employees. I was difficult and they were, clearly, unfeigned in pleasing me. THANK YOU BEST BUY STORE #162
Waited way to long on hold and when i did get someone on hold again. The guy was rude and acted as tho he was doing me a favor. Its not my first BAD EXP. But my last. I will never go again and that inc. Best Buy too!
Geek squad broke my laptop that I need for nursing school and REFUSES to compensate for the laptop THEY BROKE. It is completely broken and will not work at all now. I’ve talked to multiple people and have waited for a week for geek squid city to call me they said it’d take 24-72 hrs
Tried to call this store this morning about my grandson tablet not working and got a call center they said I would get a phone call in 2 hour's and it has been 6 hts and no this is not right I am trying to get his tablet replaced be6it not working and wer in the hospital since Sept 15 and his tablet does not work and no one to me this is right he uses it slot since he is waiting for a heart transplant this all he has to get him through the day
Disappointed that they told me on the phone they could repair my iPad, but when I showed up, they smugly told me they can't. A colossal waste of time, and I left ticked off and insulted! Great Geek experience!
Horrible. My husband's laptop came with windows 10. In order to fix his laptop they had to wipe it clean. They then installed windows 8. When we returned to tell them they put the wrong version of windows they refused to fix it saying it was a software problem and that is not covered by the protection plan.
