I had to have surgery on my knee, which was performed here. Every staff member from the front desk, to the nurses and doctors were wonderful. They showed so much kindness, compassion, and knowledge. I was very nervous and they all put me at ease and made something unpleasant much more doable.
Great hospital to seek help . From the time you enter ER you are greated by kind and compassionate staff from receptionist to doctors . All necessary tests were done quickly. Results came back fast. Very impressed. Highly recommend this hospital .
My 85-year old grandfather couldn't say enough good things about his time spent here at St. Luke's during the holidays. The staff treated him like a king and made him feel like royalty, despite being in incredibly poor condition and with COVID. He bragged to me about the extensive menu of food options, as well as the giant TVs - two of his favorite things. Needless to say, he was sad to learn he would be transferred to a rehab center, despite that it meant he was getting better. Thank you for your kindness and taking exceptional care of my dear grandfather!
The check in was smooth. The receptionist was welcoming. The ladies who performed the cat scan today were fun, polite, and professional. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Overall from start to finish I was very well pleased.
ER nurse was all to excited to tell me I wouldn't make it the next year let alone the next 3 months. I was 29. I have children. Came in via ambulance because I had an unexpected seizure. CT showed a brain tumor. If I would have been in my right mind, I would have demanded to be transferred to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
My Husband was in emergeny room yesterday. Everyone from signing in to being seen and treated were amazing.Can't say enough good about Staff,Nurses,Doctor. Hospital was very clean.
Have taken my husband and 2 children here on more than one occasion to ED . Have always been treated with prompt, compassionate care.
Went to the ER Staff was very friendly till it was known my wife was not wanting the vaccination... did not ask why just completely changed their demeanor... and quickly released me With an irregular heart beat, high BP, and low potassium Which all are very important factors in one's health. I highly recommend non vaccine ppl to go elsewhere. My wife cannot get the vaccine because of her lung damage and immune problems. Not to mention 7 people in her family that's has already passed if not from the vaccine but from the virus itself... terrible place!! Does everyone in your family have the vaccination? If they don't why don't they deserve proper treatment? She pays 1000 a month for our family insurance out of her check a month yet cannot get help. It's a sad situation and I pray for their God forsaken souls !
I was admitted to Geisinger St. Luke's for an emergency appendectomy in March of 2022. This hospital is utterly exemplary in EVERY. SINGLE. WAY. The doctors, PAs, RNs, and LPNs were knowledgeable, helpful, and amazingly kind. The dietary and cleaning staff are sweet and cheerful. Even the FOOD was decent. My care was top-notch in every possible facet and I am thankful for each person I met during my stay. Thank you!
I stopped to take pictures of the hospital on Wednesday 10 November 2021. The last time I drove through here the hospital was still under construction. I did no go inside. The building looked impressive. While I was there a medical ambulance landed behind the building. Very cool. It was just the other day I looked up Geisinger Medicare while I was researching plans for next year. The Big G was definitely more pricier than the other plans I looked at. Geisinger wants $15 to see my PCP while the others charge zero for a co-payment.
