Gems of Light is geared towards the empowerment of muslim women by giving them the tools they need to lead and influence.
WHAT IS GEMS OF LIGHT?
GOL is a non-profit organization aiming to help women gain Authentic Islamic Education and other Non-Religious Education relating to their lives. GOL is also working developing various types of Social Services for Community. Previous achievements include: Gems Matrimonial, Outreach Opportunities, and Community Seminars. Our goal at Gems of Light is to help Women gain the Knowledge and Tools necessary to tell and educate others about Islam and provide a bridge to local non-muslim communities, help eradicate cultural/social barriers amongst others with mutual understanding, train teachers and outreach personal, help others use their strengths/abilities in the field of Dawah, and develop a sense of community within the Organization. Gems of Light is an Accredited College through Mishkah University. After completing a Dayee'a degree (Associates in Islamic Studies) through Gems of Light and receive credit towards a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Islamic Studies, etc. All classes currently are held/instructed in the English language.
OUR APPROACH:
Gems of Light has highly qualified Instructors who have a Master's and PHD's in Shariah (Islamic Studies, Quranic Studies, Arabic, etc.) Our approach is moderate and stands on the basis of the Quran/Sunnah in it's teaching.

our Ummah with quality Islamic education. Our mission is to
educate dedicated and ambitious women who have the desire to
thoroughly understand their Deen and share it with others. It is our goal to provide all of our students with both the knowledge and skills necessary to carry on the light of Islam by living it and teaching it in their communities.
