Sadly we were very disappointed with the funeral arrangements ordered. Imagine arriving at a loved one’s funeral and seeing this embarrassing arrangement… I ordered the “supreme” and wanted a beautiful display at the cemetery. What we received was not even the “standard” arrangement that is on their website. Flowers were old, and a sporadically placed with tons of greenery. I would not recommend them.
i've used gene's for several occasions and they do an amazing job every time. most recently i had to place a last minute order for mother's day and even with the late notice on such a busy holiday, everything was flawless from the flowers to the delivery. would always recommend!
My girlfriend ordered birthday flowers here and they are the most amazing flowers and teddy bear I have ever seen! The flowers and packaging were gorgeous, the delivery was perfect and she said the service was fantastic. I highly recommend ordering her flowers from here.
Customer service was great! Called shop to check the status of my same day delivery to my wife's office. Within about 15min the driver called me back with an exact delivery time. And most importantly, the arrangement was BEAUTIFUL. My wife said every person in the office commented on them. I will be a lifelong customer

On May6th, 2022 I ordered flowers for my wife for Mother’s Day. They were supposed to be delivered the next day. I NEVER GOT THEM. I tried calling to sort it out and I never got a person to answer. I disputed it on my credit card and they denied my claim based on what the business said. I paid ahead, tipped ahead, and never got my product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS BUSINESS.
They have a great selection of unique arrangements, and make an effort to constantly bring in new bouquet options. Prices can be a little higher, but the quality is definitely worth it. The hand delivery option is incredibly convenient as well.
Gene's is truly the best florist in the Rockville area. They always go above and beyond to please. One of my dearest ones was sick in the hospital for a few hours. Gene's was able to make this beautiful bouquet and deliver it in less than 24 hours when she was back home. She was very pleased, and my heart was warmed.
The picture on the website did not do justice to just how full and lovely this bouquet is! Sent to my girlfriend's daughter who is recovering from major knee surgery. She absolutely loved receiving this bouquet! The pictures she sent of these flowers were amazing. Much prettier and fuller than shown and at the price with delivery were a bargain to make my girlfriend's daughter's day. Very well done and will happily use Gene's Rockville Florist again.
There are not enough words to express the wonderful experience I had working with genes rockville florist, after my order from another florist was cancelled without notice I was left with a last minute floral need. I called genes late one night and they came to the rescue and fulfilled my order.
