STOP DON'T USE THIS DOCTOR. His staff is horrible, rude, uncaring and unfeeling. Husband went to this Dr. referred by his primary physician because they found a large mass on his lung. Sent him for biopsy took a week for them to set it up. A few days after the biopsy I called his primary doctor to ask some questions regarding his blood work, at this time the primary Dr told me his biopsy results were back and gave us the diagnosis. I call this group of Drs and am told by the medical assistant that because the primary Dr gave us the results of the biopsy that we would have to follow up with the primary Dr. and not the lung specialist. They would not set up a follow up appointment for my husband to return to the lung Dr. By the way he has stage 4 lung cancer and given a timeline of 3-6 months to live. I know all of this sounds unbelievable but believe me it's all very true.
HORRIBLE. Arrived at appointment probably 40 minutes early, because of an earlier nearby appt. Appt. was at 11 am. EVERYONE who came in the office after us, was called in before us. We finally left at noon, Horrible place. HORRIBLE.
I called to arrange an appointment as a new patient. The interaction with the appointment setter female at 8:06 am. I was informed I required a referral. I indicated that my insurance company did not require such. She stated the office required a referral. That is not a problem, I can obtain a referral from my primary physician. However, due to the appointment setters negative tone; like I don’t care, it’s Monday. I hate my job. . I promptly informed her that due to her tone, I would not be procuring a referral for an appointment. A professional employee would have a comeback. Perhaps, I’m sorry if I sounded negative. Anything other than ok. Genesee Lung Associates if this is your front line of staff, I can only imagine the organization of the clinic. This was totally unprofessional.
Whomever you are considering taking here, please think again. Staff is horrible. They don't care about you, at all. Office staff is unprofessional and frequently rude. They give out false information or just don't answer the phone. If I had another choice, I would've taken it. I beg you not to use this office. The doctors are okay but the drama and nonsense makes it hard to continue to get help. Save yourself the extra hassle and find a better option now. Good luck Edit. Since my review they dropped me as a patient because of my review. After waiting 6 months wait for answers, they drop me before we got there them. Like I said, I don't believe they care about their patients at all.
I've been a patient there for about 12 years and from the moment I walked in the door I was treated with respect and kindness.
To our doctor, I give 5 stars. He has done wonders for my brother's sleep apnea. To the office I give 1 star at best. I have been trying to call them since yesterday to get a new prescription sent to Hart. I get a voicemail saying the mailbox is full all the time. I cannot talk to anyone or leave a message. Today Friday I called and they said the office is closed and that their hours are Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm????? They need to update their phone system or staff. This is so frustrating not being able to talk to anyone. Very bad service!!!

Dr Khorfan seems ok but the staff support is awful. Call to discuss or pay a bill and you get voicemail and you can't leave a message because it's always full so apparently they don't check it or they get so many complaints it's always full
The Doctor was great, his staff is horrible and very unprofessional. They cancelled an appointment while I was sitting in parking lot after I drove over a hour. After rescheduling for 2 weeks out, guess what!! Yep they call me same day and want to cancel my appointment again. I even called to verify the day before and was told everything is good. Absolutely no respect for anyone's time! Would not recommend unless you want to get jerked around.
I have been a patient of Dr. Bayasi for over 15 years. He is wonderful and I never feel like my questions are a bother to him. He would rather be safe than sorry. Doctors right now are having trouble getting good staff because of the whole covid thing.
