Was there 3 weeks ago for the beginnings of a sinus infection. Worse experience!!! I was told to come back in 2 weeks . I hope the female doctor working that day isn’t around for long in our community! I had been there several times prior and had wonderful experiences.
Went to first care this morning and within one hour, I was registered and received treatment and was on my way home! The nurses and doctor treated me so kindly and respectfully. They listened to me well and I left feeling so much better and with dignity. So often you have bad experiences at urgent cares, but today they were on top of it! Thank you, Dr. Lall! I really appreciated your attentiveness, kindness, and for making me feel much better.
Read till the end:Genesis in general, I would not give the hospital 1 star for a bandaid on a cat scratch; not just the ER, but overall everywhere that name is horrible healthcare usually follows. This is where my 5 stars kicks in: I had to take my kid here yesterday as it was the only first care in network for my insurance. We waited less than 5 mins to check-in, less than 5 mins to triage, less than 5 for x-ray and less than 5 to get bandaged and checked out. Lets be honest, the wait adds to our overall frustration when seeking care. 45 total mins from start to finish, including the drive over to Walmart to get scripts. Not everyone will experience the wait speed I did in the waiting area, but calm down Karen and look at the parking lot and others around you. The more people the longer the wait. Advice: Don't turn into a Karen so quickly. Everyone was wonderful through every stage, especially with my son. If only this place could fix everything. We're in a small-town, if you know me, you know it takes a special place or above and beyond service to get 5 stars from me. My expectations and standards are high. So, when I say the staff @ this 1st care deserve every last; I'm not lying.
I called as soon as they opened and the girl on the phone instantly had attitude with me. Almost every time I call this place only the receptionist gets an attitude when I didn’t give any in the first place. Definitely should hire someone more pleasing to be a receptionist. She was so so rude ! By the looks of it she wasn’t only rude to me, but many other patients as well by the reviews. Every other nurse was actually nice and polite. She just makes the whole place look bad.
I do not usually write reviews when I have a terrible experience, but I really thought that writing this review was necessary. I called in ahead of time, letting them know that I wanted to make an appointment and I showed up just on time. This was an urgent matter and I told them everything they needed to know. When I tell you I felt rushed, I felt rushed. Mind you, I was crying before coming into the doctor's office because I was in so much pain and I was upset over a possible diagnosis. The doctor then told me that he believed he knew what it was and went ahead and diagnosed me before any of the labs came back. After being "diagnosed", I went to another doctor about a month later which is now to see what I should do from there. They told me that he misdiagnosed me and that what he said on my paperwork was NOT true at all. So I am just now finding out that I certainly do not have this diagnosis and I have been taking medicine for it for no reason, but there is certainly something else wrong. Upon my "diagnosis", I was crying because the diagnosis was not the best. He did not comfort me but instead discharged me not even 5 minutes later. They gave me a TERMINAL ILLNESS DIAGNOSIS IN UNDER 15 MINUTES and then shoved me out the door. The following week I had reached out about meds, and never received any communication back.
I've been fortunate to have gotten excellent service and very nice people working on or with me the last couple of years. Before that was not as good, but it's improving.
The Dr. First name Ali that saw me would not come near me. I was in tears and so much pain. I thought I got bit by something so he went with that diagnosis instead of physically looking at me himself. Spent three min with me and told me to just take benedryl. One hour later , I called my Primary Dr. They fit me into their schedule. I was in so much pain and the blisters were spreading. I was diagnosed with something much more serious. It was a TERRIBLE experience at Urgent Care! I will never go there again!!!!.
I normally don’t make reviews but this one I really really had to. I came in for a hearing report for my OHSP application. I scheduled a appointment for the ENT group went in there called and they told me to go to Pavilion Physical area in genesis to take my hearing report no one was there in audiology so they send me to first care worst mistake of my life I should’ve just waited until next week to do it at Pavilion. I talk to the receptionist saying that Pavilion sent me here to take a hearing report and she was very very rude! Almost to the point I was going to walk out. I Never met someone in a hospital or first care so rude before! I heard her talking about me rudely to one of the nurses from the lobby and let alone she yelled at me to take a seat in the lobby after I got done with my registration because she was talking to a other lady and I didn’t know she was talking to me! I think her name is Don but could be wrong but she really needs to be evaluated! The other nurses were really nice and the nurse that did my hearing report was very funny and nice but what ruined the whole experience was that one specific receptionist!
After being on hold for 9 minutes I asked her a pretty basic question. And she instantly had an attitude with me. Then halfway through me explaining what I meant. She hung up on me. Like some receptionist you guys have
This is the last time I try going here. Every time I try the doctors are in a hurry. The last two times I took my son I was told nothing was wrong. Waited for his pediatrician to open on Monday and had a double ear infection both times. I took myself today adter leaving work early. I have to feel like death before going to a doctor. I got there and thought what happened to this place there was a single person there and they used to be so busy. I thought maybe they were closed. Went in thinking maybe they will take their time and treat me correctly. Doctor was in my room for maybe a minute and a half. I was told the same thing as always. Nothing was wrong just drink pleanty of fluids. I wont be going back here eber again. I will die over the weekend waiting for my doctor to open first because this is nothing but a waste of time
