Had my new patient exam and cleaning done recently. Sally was superb on taking my X-rays and making them as comfortable as possible. Dr. Vu was kind yet thorough in letting me know my options for treatment. Susi was my hygienist and she was very gentle during my entire cleaning. Huge shoutout to the staff at Gentle Dental Valley River.
I would like to say that the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend that they update their systems. I had 3 appointments in the last 10 days. I got time wrong on one appt. and I wish that the text message I received had time and dates and general info on what my appointment is about. The offices are clean but it is eerily quiet in there.
The office of the current orthodontist, Dr Cooper, refused to treat me unless I bought a product I didn't need. I was a patient of the former ortho, Dr Petersen. He placed a metal retainer for me, then left the practice. I made an appt for Dr Cooper to remove it. His office called the morning of my appt, to reschedule. They said, for Dr Cooper to remove my metal retainer, I would have to buy a plastic one from him. I explained I already have one, but it didn't matter. I've never even seen this orthodontist and never will. Refusing dental care unless I buy a product I don't need is unethical, and bad business.
Sharee is by far the best hygienist i have ever had so my teath. She has done them twice and both times were outstanding. I has no idea they co get so smooth. What ever offise she works at i will follow. Thank you Sharee foe the great job, you are the best.
I saw Meghan for a cleaning and she did a fantastic job! It was my first cleaning post-COVID, so she had her work cut out for her. Regardless, she was kind, patient, and read/responded to my wincing and expressions very well!
I suffer from dental phobia and recently had a filling done here. I wanted to say it was an over all nice experience. No one scorened me for balling my eyes out uncontrollably as an adult or accused me of being someone “looking to score” and the proceedure was safe + efficient.
NOPE!!! DO NOT go here, it's a dental FACTORY! Just scheduling an appointment is pure hell. Scheduled 6 months out, they cancel the MORNING OF, like an hour before. ***And just because they respond to the review DOES NOT mean a rescheduled appointment will occur in the next SIX months!! Lots of miscommunication between the office and "call center". NOPE!!!
This review is specifically for the orthodontist, Dr. Petersen and his staff. Amazing service! I'm sure they are always super busy, but Dr. Petersen was always very personable, and made an extra effort to get to know his patients and their lives. And my teeth look excellent now, too!
Our appointments have had to be rescheduled every. Single. Time. Always with day-of notice. Either because they accidentally double-booked or "didn't have enough assistants." Once I was called 10 minutes from my appointment, while I was making the commute there, to be informed of this. They also charged me full price for my x-rays and insisted I wasn't on the Smile Plan until we literally brought in the paperwork to show them. They had claimed I signed I was agreeing to pay the rates, but the rates on the sheet were literally the cheaper rates from the plan. Office staff is unprofessional and unqualified. Dr. Vu seems to be a thorough dentist, it's just a matter of ever being able to actually get in to see him.
Really friendly and professional staff. Suzie was an angel from heaven that helped me sort out my many issues in a timely manner. The manager Amy was amazing as well as my doctor. Dr. Repel & her assistant
