Dr Gilson is an incredible dentist. I had a root canal and Crown prep yesterday that was absolutely painless. He was reassuring and caring which is so important in a dentist. His technical skills are excellent. His office is quite nice and the patients are made very comfortable. I have to compliment his medical assistant Leslie, as she is incredibly professional and seemed to know what the doctor needed before he even asked for it. I definitely recommend Gentle Family Dentistry to anyone who is looking for a dentist who really cares about you.

Great personnel starting with reception. Hygienist was personable and did a great job. Doctor Gilson was excellent. The dental assistants were great, also.  One can tell the dentist really knows dentistry and is concerned with how the patient is feeling at all times. Would recommend this office hands down.

Dr. Gilson and his staff are very nice. They go above and beyond to help out my daughters and I with our dental needs. We neglected our teeth for a few years because we were focused on their mother's terminal medical issues. Dr. Gilson got us back on track with our dental health and now we are doing better. *Side note, don't avoid your mammogram!

Was searching for a new dentist due to an insurance change. Tried him. Wish I hadn’t. After a cursory exam, he started to pitch the infamous Deep Cleaning procedure. Explained to him I couldn’t tolerate the procedure due to cardiac issues. Didn’t care at all. My previous dentist for the last 3 years cleaned my teeth 2-3 times a year and never ever mentioned it. After I told him I wasn’t going to submit to deep cleaning for reasons I previously mentioned, he became disinterested, disappeared for a while. Then he sent in the assistant to again try to sell me on the deep cleaning. Again told them no and why. Then the receptionist came in to try and sell me the deep cleaning! Had to tell her the same reasons and refuse it. She took me to the desk to pay 15 bucks for the exam. When I asked to set up an appointment for regular cleaning, she said no and I left, having wasted 1 1/2 hours. Gilson never had the decency to tell me himself he wasn’t going to accept me as a patient. Felt like I was being pitched a used car with all the selling of the deep cleaning. Horrible experience.

I was in on yesterday, March 24, 2020 and had excellent service.  Judy was her delightful self as usual.  She came out and sanitized the sitting area each time a person left the area.  She left the entrance door ajar, so that you didn't need to touch it, and she wiped the chair arms, the  counter and the door handles.  She even had disposable plastic over the card machine. She had a positive attitude and even gave Dr. Gilson positive words to keep his spirits up.  Lily was my hygienist and she was superb. She cleaned, polished and made me aware that it was time to add fluoride to my teeth. She kept my lips moist as she worked on my teeth tirelessly until complete. I woke up this morning and noticed that my teeth were very shiny, white,  and clean.  Thank you Dr. Gilson for having such wonderful staff members!

I went to see Dr. Gilson for a cleaning, plus I had a bit of bleeding when I brushed I wanted his opinion on. The ladies up front who checked me in were great, extremely friendly and just generally nice. The hygenist was awesome as well, she was quick, did the dirty work without me being in any pain or discomfort, and most importantly quick! yes, quick x2. Lastly, Dr. Gilson was fantastic, he was gentle and intelligent, making me seem more like a friend than a patient. 10 stars!

As a 63 year old, I have had many experiences with dentists.  By far, the kindest, most knowledgeable and sincere office is Gentle dentistry.  Dr. Gilson is 1 in a million and so is his caring staff.

I had made an appointment 2 weeks ahead so I could take time off of work. They called me the day before stating the hygienist wasn’t going to be there in the afternoon. I understand things happen and re scheduled for the morning of that day. Then they call me the morning of my appointment to tell me that they have to cancel because the hygienist just didn’t show. Are you kidding me! I just took unpaid time off to just now sit at home and am going to have to take more time off to reschedule this. The girls in the front weren’t even trying to help me reschedule to a time that was good for me because “everyone wants those times”. Well I had my desired time until you cancelled twice on me! Ther may need to get another hygienist! Super disappointed

Dr. Steve Gilson has been my dentist for 21 years. I appreciate that he takes the time before procedures begin to talk to me. He asks me how I am and is interested in my answers. During procedures he stops often to ask if I'm okay, this helps me to feel more relaxed.  When all is over Dr. Gilson gives full instructions on what I need to do once home. Once I needed an unscheduled surgical procedure it took over two hours to complete he did an excellent job and saved my tooth.  A professional caring and gentle family dentist Dr. Steve Gilson.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Gilson and his team for over 20 years. He’s always done an amazing job of hiring the right people to be on his staff. The team consisting of office staff, dental assistants and hygenists are always pleasant and take great pride in the work they do. Dr. Gilson is extremely competent and skilled  in his craft. He always goes the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction for his patients. This is definitely a top notch facility and I highly recommend checking them out!!
