We publish a biannual issue of undergraduate health
science research done on the Hilltop. Moreover, our
staff writes advice columns and editorials about current
topics. In doing so, we hope to foster skills in different
types of writing and nurture passions about health
sciences.
The Journal accepts graduate level academic research that falls within the GUJHS guidelines for publishable material, and our issues feature full articles (7-10 pages), large abstracts (500 words), and small abstracts (250 words).
Additionally, the Journal also accepts op-eds in a journalistic format to feature on our blog at https://blogs.commons.georgetown.edu/journal-of-health-sciences/.
If you are interested in submitting work to the GUJHS, wish to write for the Journal's blog, or would like to learn how getting involved with the GUJHS can jumpstart or further your interests in the fields of hard research, editing, and scientific writing, please contact us at [email protected]
