A cut above what you might expect in a tourist seafood area. A REAL Itilian Restaurant with home made pasta and sauces that are as flavorful as you might find anywhere. The outside is not flashy but when you step inside this quaint small authentic restaurant you will understand why it is so hard to get a reservation. Plan ahead to make the reservation and treat yourself to a top notch experience.
Lovely establishment. Service was wonderful yet slightly delayed. Server suggested something for my son because menu choices were not to his pallet. Extremely crowded but, overall I would go back. Enjoyable experienceRecommended dishesMeatballs
Lord knows how I love this place! Was there for a vacation - the food is amazing!! Me and my MIL love the seafood pasta with Parmigiana sauce, that was the special the first time we came but the chef made it for us the second time we went there - even though it’s not on the special menu anymore. I swear it’s unbelievably delicious!
Espresso martini, bread with olive oil, chicken carbonara, all top-notch. I sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the mixologist at work. I'll go back with family and friends, especially since they can do a lot of their dishes GF. Parking: There were two spots open when I arrived. I'm sure it can get totally full. But there's plenty of parking a short walk away without having to cross the street.
Our favorite Italian restaurant besides home. We've been enjoying Chef Diego's food for 20 years. Crab Cakes are insanely good. So many great menu items. You can't go wrong. We visit the Cape just to dine at Gerardis Cafe!Food: 5/5
My husband, my child and I visited this place on our vacation trip. The place is fantastic. Our waiter was super friendly, I think his name was Dimitrio or something similar. He was always aware that we were okay. the food was delicious, my husband had veal chop and he said it is the best veal he has had in years. I ate chicken parm and it was delicious too. Keep in mind to make a reservation because it is full almost all the time
If you want Italian, this is the spot on the cape when you've had enough seafood, plus it was a rainy day and we were ready for some comfort food. I thought I had made a reservation, since I wrote it down in my phone notes, but maybe that was the plan. Anyway they didn't have the reservation, but we were lucky enough to get a table. Trust me, make reservations, as the place was slammed. Great cocktails, I'm a Manhattan man and they had Rittenhouse rye, the perfect Manhattan, usually only in the best steakhouses. Every other place on the cape has Bullitt. They also made a special vodka watermelon cucumber martini for my girlfriend, great service from the bar. I went for the veal Parmigiano and my girlfriend had veal piccatta, both great pieces of veal, very tender. I forced myself to finish, my girlfriend took some of hers home. Very good meal. We had a nice bottle of wine, an Italian Tuscany that I recognized. Not inexpensive, but not the most expensive place we ate at the cape. Highly recommend it. Great service also, something that is getting rarer.
It was good but not SUPER good, the price was a bit wild.. definitely could have got more bang for my buck somewhere else. Our waitress was super nice though.Food: 4/5
Fantastic dinner!! We all had something different and each member of our party raved about their dinner!! Some of the best Italian I have had and that includes some venues in the North End. Crème brûlée was also amazing!!Food: 5/5
We happened upon Gerardi's Cafe upon arriving in Yarmouth around 6:30 on a Saturday night. We didn't have a reservation and they were super busy, but they were able to fit us in. The restaurant does a great job of spacing everyone due to COVID guidelines and we felt safe from other people. The staff couldn't have been kinder. We ordered right away and the food came out quickly and was delicious. We even got a complimentary appetizer bite to enjoy while waiting for our meal. Topped it off with a hot shot of espresso! Definitely will be coming back when in the area again.
