We attended a concert, and the SHOW was great! The venue itself is very good. HOWEVER, the info of the $30 parking fee eluded a lot of people until they made it to the entrance. In addition to that, some parking attendants were not accepting cash, while others did. There aren't even enough handicap spots for the number of people, like us, attending with a wheelchair. We ended up parking in a regular compact spot. Inside, the concessions offer some variety, but at very high costs. $4.50 for a bottle of water. $8.00 for a tub of popcorn. And no extra cups or anything in order for you to share. I understand rising costs, and that they're there to make money, and I did pay for these items. I am noting these things in hopes that the customer service in these departments may be elevated in the future. IDEAS- Find ways to make it easier for attendees. We want to go to your venue. Put parking cost in big letters online as people go to the sites to purchase their tickets. So they can see it BEFOREHAND. Accept cash AND credit for parking in all the entrances. Expand the number of designated handicap parking spots. Have cups available at the concessions. These are basic services. Hertz Arena is a large, well maintained facility and should be able to tend to these things. AGAIN, it's about service. On the flip side, THE USHERS INSIDE WERE AWESOME!! SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. We were here for the Kelly Cup Final! We had an incredible experience! It’s definitely tight to maneuver around the seats, but people are usually understanding! Every employee that we encountered was genuinely nice and eager to help. Park at the outlet center in order to avoid the parking fees!
Nice place, mostly clean and spacious. I went for the ice skating and had an amazing time. Lots of parking and easily accessible. The rental skates were a little under the weather and could use replacing, but they functioned well. There were a TON of people, however, so don't go if you're of the agoraphobic persuasion. There were even things to help you learn to skate! Good spot, would come back again.
This place was a great time. The fam and I went out Saturday night during an Everblades game. After briefly enjoying the match we go in line to get our skates. A sweet treat they include with your nightly skate purchase is a free slice of pizza and beverage, which came in handy after an hour or so of skating. There are two nice size rinks, so the open skate is going on during the same time as hockey games which is pretty awesome because I enjoy the sport. This place is very family friendly for all ages and I recommend it. Had a blast.
All three concerts we went to where awesome Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean. Parking is a bit expensive but right next to the stadium. Snacks and drink for a affordable price.
I went to this arena for the Camilo de adentro pa’ fuera tour concert, and had a great time and experience, the staff is very nice and helpful, they have great security measures. The place is small but very cozy and intimate feeling. The downside is that it rained a lot and the parking lot got flooded and everyone had to “swim“ almost to get to their cars…. Other than that, it was a great experience.
We have been here for a few things. Always each event has been well accommodated. This morning we went for a 5k Thanksgiving Day race. The facilities were nice and clean. We have been here for a few concerts, as well as to come ice skating. Every time was well to do. Hertz arena is a great place for fun. Excited for the next event.
First time going to a concert in this area so wasn’t sure what to expect. First of all, parking prices are atrocious $30! Warning! Didn’t know until afterwards that Miramar Outlets is walking distance. Driving through they have attendants with handheld credit card machines to pay the parking. They do not accept cash! Then they guide you through. Entrance to the building they have police who are watching for bags/purse’s. Nothing over the size of a large postcard is allowed in UNLESS it’s clear. Then you walk through metal detectors, then they scan your e-tickets. I felt like I was at the airport! Once your inside it’s a normal civic center with merch booths and concessions. Sections, rows, and seats are clearly marked. The concert was great and easy to see.
Great place to see a concerts and hockey games. Food is pretty good, beer is cold at the vendors. Love the Nut Guy, he has delicious variety of candied nuts.
My husband, son and I went to our first hockey game. We weren't sure what to expect but were very entertained. We had a great time. They are limited on the selection at the concession stands.
