Been going here for years. Amazing - every time. This was the first time I had the fish fry which was delicious. Baked French onion soup delicious as always. Mozzarella sticks were perfect. Usually go and get the surf and turf or scallops which are terrific. My favorite supper club of all time.
It was our first time dining at Schwefel's and the overall experience was good. I went for a more authentic German cuisine Schlachtplatter which consisted of three meats and a couple sides. It was prepared well and it was flavorful. Restaurant atmosphere is relaxed and well lit. Wait staff was excellent. Pricing was reasonable for the portion size. Good place to have a meal!
Went for Friday night fish fry! We had the combination seafood platter…shrimp, scallops, fish & chicken! They were busy, but we were seated right away. Drinks came quick! Our server Debra, was fast, pleasant & friendly! Cole slaw was delicious! I loved the tartar sauce and potato pancakes! Needless to say, we will be back soon!

Brother-in-law's wedding reception was held here last weekend. AMAZING!! Decent sized reception room, and bar for smaller sized reception. Staff was super accommodating and attentive! Food....was mouth watering fantastic! Never been here as a restaurant patron, but we are planning to come back due to the magnificent reception
The food was fantastic, and the service was wonderful! The waitress went above and beyond. I ordered the wiener schnitzel and it came to me looking a bit on the burned side, but not too badly. The waitress looked at it, looked at me and asked if I would like it replaced. She said she wouldn't eat it because it was on the burned side. I was OK with it, but she said she would replace it anyway. Took it back, and I didn't have to wait long at all for the replacement to arrive. This time cooked to perfection! I will definitely be going back!
I love this supper club. Owner is super nice and accommodating to larger groups. Food is always great. Lots of German dish options on the menu, along with your traditional steak, chicken and fish. Will not disappoint.
Great food with nice portion sizes. We went with primarily the specials and the rainbow trout did not disappoint. We also did the appetizer platter which was a perfect sampler. I was there last night for a birthday celebration. Ordered 2 PC cod. It was absolutely the worst fish fry I have ever eaten! Fish was SO overcooked there was hardly any fish. Breading was so hard you could not bite it. Fries were also overcooked. Everyone else's food was good. Since it was a celebration, I didn't want to embarrass anyone by complaining but I probably will never go there again. I left hungry.
