This will be a historic event. Please consider taking part (running or volunteering) if you can get to Gettysburg that weekend.
The concept is unique - run a marathon that is built upon the historical theme of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Everyone runs the same course, but participants can choose whether they wish to run for the "North" or "South" and will have separate colored race shirts and numbers to reflect their selection. Everyone gets the same commemorative finishers medals that reflect this theme.
