Gordon Food Service is not a friendly place to shop. People that can help you throughout the store, they're either at the register for bringing food products into the store from the back. They need to have riding grocery carts for handicapped people to shop. Their prices are on the high side compared to Sam's

I went to GFS to get a couple of things for a Birthday Party. I usually go there when I am trying to get stuff for a Party and never have been disappointed. I was able to get everything I was looking for right there and that saved Me a lot of time and running around.

Found reasonable prices, unique items, service was great but according to the clerk I thankfully missed the crowd. I'd definitely shop there again. Update: I went again recently; service wasn't as friendly. Everyone could be having a bad day so I won't hold that against them. Most of what I wanted was in stock. I found great deals on their website prior to attending that will help with my monthly grocery budget. I would just suggest to thoroughly check your frozen items before leaving. On my original visit, my friend and I both bought sweet potato fries. They both had mold on them. No issues with crediting my cc back.

I have always bought ham flavored seasoning at gfs, for $3.49. I got the shock of my life when I went this time, and saw that the price is now $8.99. Geez!

Employees are always willing to help and they have a great selection of bulk items.

I did shopping for our church Annual Thanksgiving dinner. This is always a great place to shop.

I couldn't find something I was looking for so, I asked if they still carried it while checking out. The girl wasn't sure so she called the manager to ask. The manager said yes and she would show me where it was. Apparently she got tired of waiting for me at the checkout and went back to her office. And never bothered to show me. The cashier was super though.
