Description

The Ghost Art Gallery was established in 1974 in the historic mining district of Helena. The original gallery was small and offered mostly paintings of buildings and themes from the several surrounding ghost towns; thus the name Ghost Art.

Our framing and design area is located above the gallery in what used to be Big Dorothy's brothel. Ghost Art Gallery has grown to 4200 square feet and specializes in western and wildlife art, featuring over 80 of Montana's finest artists.

Along with art we have the highest quality framing with certified picture framers on staff.

Could not find it. Google maps took us to a door with a small sign which said Ghost Gallery but it was not inviting and gave us no instructions if there was another entrance? Disappointing.

I've used Ghost Art Gallery twice for professional jobs and they do a great job! They have been professional and accommodating, even if I have a tight deadline. Highly recommend!

I had some framing done here and it turned out far better than I even hoped! The turn around was quick and the gal working there had great advice for which matting to choose to compliment the frame and the artwork.  I couldn't be happier.  Thank you so much!

Fantastic selection of original art in the gallery! The owner is super friendly as well as a knowledgeable curator!  They also offer framing services. I took a large canvas in for restorative stretch and a new frame. Exceptional, professional, quality!!  Extremely pleased and highly recommend the gallery as well as framing!

I appreciated the help they gave me with an old framed class picture I needed to send.  I've always loved the gallery.

The Walking Mall in Helena is a must see not only for visitors but for locals. There are many shops to brouse through. Ghost Art Gallery is an example of a first class shop.  The original art is tastefully displayed and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Give them a try.

This art gallery has something for everyone. Take a few minutes to look around, there is such a variety of fun and tasteful art!  I loved talking with the gallery owner/associate, too. Great experience
