Night of Spooks and Haunts!
Lorton Reformatory is one best-known haunted hotspot, infamous for cruel events started during the 1917’s. Using rehabilitation methods to not only to build the prison and create a self-serving community many things went wrong. From keeping male and female prisoners, no one was spared the Iron bars of Lorton Penitentiary.
One such story was the inhumane form of punishment used on 36 women known as the Silent Sentinels endured unspeakable torture and abuse including death.
Even to this day the spirit of the brave women who stood proudly for what they believed can be felt and sometimes you can hear the voices asking for equality and justice in the empty hallways and cells of the former prison.
