We've tried several cake and cupcake shops on the westside of Cleveland and Gigi's is easily the best. The cake and frosting are perfect for our taste. We go there for the cupcakes, but the other treats are great as well. The minis are perfect for sampling multiple flavors. They have reasonable hours and do not run out of the most popular items if you're stopping by after work. Try it once - you'll be back.
Fresh & Fantastic cakes!!! Displays were full. Service was excellent. Love their strawberry icing. Yummy!!!! Chocolate tortes are excellent. I'm a light icing person. They eagerly curtailed icing to my liking. Staff was very polite and recommending favorite products. They were busy and moved quickly to take orders but recognized those entering with "welcome to Gigi's, I'll be right with you.
staff was nice , owner was nice … place was squeaky clean… cake was nice and soft and also moist and icing inside was great! I took off a star because the cake could have been a tad bit better presentation wise … as you can see a flower fell off and I had to glue the head on the cake myself when cake arrived …. and also because the cake icing was super super sweet …. Other than that it was great and I definitely would recommend this place
We ordered GiGi’s cupcakes for our wedding. We ordered 140 mini cupcakes and 1 4” cake. Everything was baked perfectly and we received so many complements. Laura was great to work with and did a wonderful job with set up. They even delivered to our venue! We will be returning to GiGi’s again soon!
Very disappointed! Bought 4 different flavors of cheesecake cupcakes. The frosting was hard. They have a smell and a taste like they have been in a fridge for a week or more. The lady was pushy. I told her that it was my first time there, so i needed more time to decide. She was looking at me while i was deciding and kept on asking if i made my decision. Made me very uncomfortable! I drove 35 minutes just to get the cupcakes. Waste of time and money!
Last weekend I was craving cupcakes and went to 4 different bakeries and no one had Gluten-free cupcakes! Until I discovered Gigis!!!! I got one in every flavor and they were delicious, as well as the chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies! Thank you for thinking of us who are GF, you will forever have my business!
A wonderful selection of flavors, there atleast sixteen if I counted correctly. That is a larger selection than the norm. Additionally, selling Pierre's ice cream is a nice touch and fits. The pricing seemed fair and there were samples. Among the samples was a mint chocolate flavor that was quite memorable. I would recommend it. The cakes, I tried bits of a few, were always soft and moist. I think, and maybe I am crazy, but there was too much icing. That and they struggled to land a perfect Red Velvet.
I was given 6 cupcakes to try. I was looking forward to trying them. Four were awesome looking cheesecake cupcakes with strawberry topping. Two look like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup cupcakes. I tried one of the former. It tasted like dish soap and had a hair in it; they were also quite still. My stomach is still doing backflips. I wanted to give a good review. I just can’t. You may have a better result. I may have had a bad batch or perhaps an older batch?.
So my boyfriend goes to Gigi’s cupcakes today to buy me a gluten free cupcake for my birthday. He had forgotten his wallet, but had cash on him. So he pulls out a 10$ bill, and they tell him they do not accept cash. Explain to me this, how they can have a huge jar of cash sitting there for tips that they are willing to accept for their personal gain, but they are unwilling to accept my cash for payments. If they do not accept cash because they are afraid to touch it then why are they not afraid to touch the tip jar? Just saying!
Driven by a million times - finally tried it. Thought the cupcakes were great. Very friendly and helpful lady behind the counter. It’s a little expensive but you get what you pay for. They also have a small selection of ice cream
