The moment we passed through the doors of Gilbert Memorial there was a sense of welcoming that was most comforting and familiar, like coming home to a warm family embrace, even though the gathering was not one of joy, but of sorrow. The staff was compassionate and accommodating, yet seemed to be almost invisible if that were at all possible. The facilities itself were quite lovely. A service was held in the chapel and a reception followed immediately thereafter in their reception area which accommodated a large group nicely, and it had a very nice serving area as well. Our family also held a small service at the site of the grave within Gilbert Memorial's peaceful grounds. Gilbert Memorial is a beautiful setting for family and friends to pay their respects to a loved one who has crossed over. All matters were handled with dignity and care.
I lost my best friend in June of this year to cancer! God bless her!!! Her and I had visited Gilbert Memorial Park in Gilbert AZ the year before she passed, it is Gilbert’s first Cemetery and I know it sounds odd but we wanted to see it to experience it! So we went. How beautiful we both found it and it was a blessing that we had already been there and found it peaceful and a definite choice when that time came for either of us ! I chose this place that we had both experienced together to have her cremated! What a lovely experience if you can understand that! I dealt with Karoline and Debbie throughout the process and they were wonderful! Caring and very much involved with my decisions and the grief I was experiencing and they still are! What a great choice to have had them in my decision making and in my friends end of life journey!
The level of professionalism that my family received from Karoline Davidson who handled all of our Dads arrangements was outstanding. No detail was left untouched and Karoline’s support at a difficult time was very much appreciated. I wish there was a Karoline I could work with on a variety of matters life throws at us. Her level of customer service and pro-activity was exemplary. Gilbert Memorial provided us with top-notch service with high-level attention to detail. The entire staff we met Karoline, Allison, Mary Beth, and others listened to what we wanted and always found a way to meet our expectations. They did so with patience, sympathy and professionalism in order for us to fulfill and have the services we wanted for our loved one. They made everything so simple for me and my family for my dad’s passing. Everything from the initial phone call, the on-site visit, and last but not least...the exquisite care of my dad. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.
Recently my wife passed after several difficult years. This is the most pain I've ever felt and needed people, who truly help, to get me through the task that are time bound. I called Glilbert Memorial Park since it was the only cemetery in Gilbert and I want my wife nearby. Brooke came to my house to meet with me and my daughters and was super helpful and simply a warm person with no pressure. We decided to move forward and once the cemetery arrangements were completed she handed us to Tyler our funeral director. If there was ever a person born into a life calling he is it. He is a caring person who showed patience and compassion throughout our interaction and final arrangements. Gilbert Memorial Park is just beautiful and I'm happy there is a place of this quality for my wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter to be placed to rest. I made arrangements to join her there when the time comes so we can be together once again. There are still some items and Brooke said when I'm ready and hasn't pushed one bit. Thank you Tyler and Brooke for helping me to pay tribute to my best friend in such a meaningful place!
Everyone at Gilbert Memorial Park are absolutely the most loving, caring, compassionate, and sensitive staff I have ever met. Ryan was the gentleman that help myself and family. My 19yr old son unexpectedly passed in May 2022. Ryan and staff made things more bearable than I thought possible. Ryan literally was right with us ever step of the way, making sure I was not alone and I had family and friends with me. Ryan and staff also periodically called to check up on our family. I cannot express into words through this unbelievable terrible experience, Ryan and staff made myself and family feel at peace, that my son was very well taking care of. My sincere gratitude goes to Gilbert Memorial Park. Our family is forever grateful for you.
I want to thank Ryan and the staff at Gilbert Memorial Park for everything they did to help with my husband’s memorial. They were kind, caring and very accommodating. They met with my sons and I and walked us through everything we needed to consider. They fully explained options to us and never made us feel pressured to do anything that we didn’t want to do. And when I made a few adjustments just days before the service opted to stream the service for out of town friends and family, it was not a problem. They happily accommodated my request. And on the day of the service, the turnout far surpassed my expectations. The team at Gilbert Memorial Park jumped into action and added more seating. I didn’t have to worry about anything. Lastly, I was touched by the fact that about 10 days after the service, I received a text from them just checking in to see how I was doing. It was a pleasure working with them. Thank You Gilbert Memorial Park.
Our dad unexpectedly passed away in the Philippines and we needed to bury him in AZ. We worked with Tyler and Brooke who were so compassionate and empathetic to our situation. We had never gone thru this process, but they walked us through everything in detail and was super accommodating to our needs. They even helped us come up with solutions for any issues we ran into. Our service went smoothly thanks to Ryan for helping us with everything! We can’t thank the team enough for taking care of our dad and making sure he had the proper memorial he deserves.
Gilbert Memorial was a blessing to me and my family. Everything went well, the people were gracious, caring, patient and so much more! They kept in touch even months after my wife’s passing, just to show concern on how we were doing and letting us know that if we needed anything, they were there for us. That meant something! We are grateful for all they did! My wife and mother to my children couldn’t be in a better place to rest. We talk about it amongst each other on how we really are satisfied, when it comes to where she is. We know she loves it too! Thank you Gilbert Memorial!
Gilbert Memorial Park handled my husband's care after he died. I was dreading the process especially when you have a limited amount of time to plan such a life altering situation. From a previous death of our daughter the funeral home in California who handled her care was so depressing, dark and smelled weird. That was what I was expecting that day. I walked in and the Beautiful spirit of love and compassion filled my soul. There was no darkness there that day. Bright light and a beautiful spirit was there with me and my son that day. A beautiful group of people who helped with everything. I didn't have to go to a funeral home then a cemetery. No extra appointments and billing. Everything in one place and one group of helpers planning everything for me. For such a terrible time in my life and that of my children it was beautiful. I felt like the staff were my friends. We can go anytime to visit his grave no locked gates . My son goes sometimes late in the evening to talk with his dad and it's always open . Thank you Gilbert Memorial for all you did for us. Those memories will always be beautiful!
May of this year just shy of her 88th birthday my Mom passed. Having never had to deal with a family members passing I started calling several funeral homes. I was just trying to get some basic information. It was horrible at a very bad time. Most places couldn’t even answer basic questions on price, availability or even transportation. I finally called Gilbert Memorial Park. Between Debbie and Karoline I had all my questions answered. My Mom was transported that day. We then meet and my brother and I with there help made the final arrangements. The funeral was perfect in every way. The quote they gave over the phone was correct with no surprises , and all the follow up paperwork went through with out any problems.
